Shalom!
Greetings on this glorious Passover! We had the opportunity to join in a Passover Seder several years ago and it is an experience I will never forget. But before that, we had gone to a Christ in the Passover presentation, which was beautifully done, and changed a lot about the way we think about Jesus, Judaism and our roots as Christians.
If you can attend a Christ in the Passover, please, don't hesitate. It will enrich you.
We were invited to Passover tonight, but won't be able to attend. Please pray for our dear friends who are opening their home to many tonight for this celebration and reverential time. She is busy cooking and preparing, and if you are wondering about what you eat on Passover, Marilyn over at The Urban Homemaker has some recipes for you.
I found a link for a sermon called "Christ is our Passover" by Charles Spurgeon. All these things are wonderful ways to show our children what this season is all about. Our Christian traditions offer many exciting and fun ways to solidify our faith with our children, and the Jewish roots off it all anchor it firmly.
Have you ever studied the many festivals and holidays that the Jewish nation adhere to? It is wonderful to make it a part of your homeschool. For some great links on the Hebraic Law and the Torah, you can go right here at the Heart of Wisdom blog!
Have a wonderful day!
