Homeschooling Is Life! - The invasion of.......

Hair Cutting

• Jun. 10, 2005 - The invasion of.......

Hello all you dear people out there in bloggerland!  I know you are there :)

Would somebody PLEASE comment on my blogs, before I get a complex???

(Anissa, I mean everybody else.  You are my best commentator!)

Today, we had a very fun little experience.  We were coming home from picking up a container full of live lady bugs from a friend........actually at the bank drive through, when my oldest child took the container from the youngest, "just in case," and OOPS.  It slipped right out of her hands!  It kind of looked a bit like Gena's blog template

Lady bugs, lady bugs where have you been?

All over the inside of Nancy's Van!

On the floor boards, in the windows, even in her purse.

I tried to convice my daughter, it could have been worse!

(It could have been a container full of .......baby snakes or something!

Thank God for Lady bugs.

Have a blessed weekend y'all!

Nancy

Nance~

I think I'll stick with the deer vs the ladybugs! I thought of you this mornin'....we have a brand new fawn on the property...she can't be more than a couple days old...SO tiny....and absolutely adorable!! The whole deer family has been 'hanging out' laying around the yard and the baby bounds and leaps around...the girls want me to 'catch' her (yeah, right! if you can pull a mental picture on that, it's a very good laugh) and keep her as a pet........

We are so blessed to live amongst all God's creatures........they are so beautiful!

The fact that you could come up with a little poem rather than freaking out with all those ladybugs in your van is great. That was such a happy little poem. Makes me want to break out Green Eggs and Ham again.
Blessings,

What a great visual... not so sure I would have handled it so well, though. We're infested with ladybugs here, all the time. I might have snapped! (well okay maybe not for real, but eww).

As for the fawn........ ! I want to see the fawn, take a picture! I love deer, and I never get to see a fawn.

For those who asked (Cindy for one,) I think my second or third blog entry explains all of it, but I am blessed to know a lady who is at this very moment, working on some new blog templates for TOS. Her blog site is HomeGrownHearts, and she made this one (my photo of the sunflower, I must brag :) and she made frogiggie89's(you MUST see it!) and I don't know if Gena's (TOS Publisher) has been released yet. Just keep your eyes on the template section and look for new ones from time to time!

About Me

Hi There!

Welcome to my blog.
How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 17, 14, 12 and 10 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
