What a gorgeous day! We have had rain for a couple of days now, and the parched land is rejoicing. There was even snow on Pikes Peak, and other mountians here in lovely Colorado!
Go outside ---there are things out there "speaking" to you right now!
Several bloggers I know like my friend Jess always include these neat little notices of "what they are hearing" while blogging. My kids and I just went on a little walk to a local park, and we heard many things while we were getting our exercise.
All we had to do was look, and listen.
We have a new blogger here at HSB that I would like to welcome, Mr. Sam Alibrando, the author of a new book called "Nature Never Stops Talking."
He has a keen mind and a great eye for those things in nature that may be so small, or so great--yet speak volumes to us. Without giving away the whole book (I haven't finished it yet but I can already heartily recommend it) I think it is a great resource for us homeschoolers. Popular homeschooling author Diana Waring is one of the endorsees on the back of his book.
I met Mr. Alibrando and his very sweet wife up in Denver last month, and we became fast friends. He has joined us here at homeschoolblogger and will be sharing his thoughts on the intricate and amazingly special designs in nature, that you might never have noticed.
So get on over to his blog and tell him hello. He isn't a scientist, just an ordinary guy who likes to write about extraordinary things that are right outside your front door.....and some right inside your home too!
Happy Homeschooling,

There wasn't a link that said "trackbacks" but under that heading I found a spot that appeared to be a link "Homeschooling is Life!" and voila! here I am.
So does this mean I'm hooked up OK on the trackbacks?
Thanks.
