Well this has been an informative night! I cook ONE time in a crock pot and am branded. Why is it that crock pot cooking brings out the best and the worst in homeschool Mom's? I have been very careful about not bringing up TOO controversial of subjects on this blog (yeah, so far) but this crock pot stuff takes the cake!

Sigh.

And then there is this friends thing. I LIKED all the blogs that I added to my friends list. I don't know most of these fine people but I am SO glad I met them here in cyberland. So now I am told that this is taboo. Well, how do I delete some of them without them feeling rejected? I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings! I suppose I could delete HWA's blog. She's too busy doing things like autopsies and stuff to write blogs with us. Yup, I will start there.....

Well.....maybe not.

Or maybe TOSPUB?

She started this whole kitchen kaboodle anyway.......

Just don't ask me what I am cooking for dinner tomorrow night, and I will be JUST fine.

Now you know I was just teasing you. You probably only have half the amount on your friends list than a certain publisher does. But I had to come up with something since my crock pot skills are nil and my general cooking skills aren't much better, so I couldn't ridicule you there. I've heard this throwing glass stones something-or-other saying enough to know better than to do that. :-)

I hope you're having a less...grumpy...day today. I don't like to see you using that devilish emoticon...scary! Or is that you having a hot flash? Well, regardless, I hope you do not feel the need to use it today and will be cool as a cucumber and even-tempered as....um...something that is very even-tempered.

Welcome to my blog.
How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 16, 13, 11 and 9 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
