We just finished watching "Anne of Green Gables."  It plunged me utterly into the depths of death when it ended......well, Anne (with an "e") would have said something like that.  We don't watch many movies, (basically, there isn't much out there that I would waste my time on, not to mention the unmentionables....) but we watched this one.  The first half was last night and my 6 year old was very upset about them using the word "stupid" which was a blessing to me.  (Not the word, but the fact he was up in arms over it.)  Perhaps, just perhaps, we are doing something right :)

For most of the late afternoon, my children were making origami popcorn holders, and play money, a snack bar sign, and all the trappings of a great evening at the cinema.  We had cappucino, or something with a similar spelling, and oreos for just a few paper coins.  As Anne would have said, "It was a night that I will never forget as long as the sun and moon endure."

----- well, that's not exactly what she said, but close enough for me!
