Last December I caught an image of a snowflake in my daughters hair, and we did it again this year! These are real Colorado Snowflakes, and the red hair is real too! :)
Stay warm!
Don't forget to pray for our friends up in Washington and Oregon--they have really been hit hard by the wind and weather,
That is so neat. I might have to give that one a try. I love taking photos. Course it has to snow first. We are still wearing our spring jackets which is unusal.
I have never seen real snowflakes and hair that close and detailed. Later I am bringing my kids over to see this, great science for them. The snowflakes are really that pretty, thanks for the pic.
That is an AMAZING picture!!! WOWZERS! You are gonna HAVE to teach me how to do that!! What camera did you use?
Just TRYING to catch up on my fav blogs. Love all your info about homeschooling as we are getting there with AA. She will be 7 in Feb. I have so many questions!! Your stuff is helping me get started! I put this off way too long, but now with the move finalized, I need to get to it! :-)
It's just my HP photosmart. I take it with the macro setting, then crop it down in my photo editor. I will post some of the original full frames when I get a chance. You can look on my sidebar of previous entries for last year's photo- it is very similar! Maybe I need to do a side by side comparison.....I love snowflakes!!!!

Welcome to my blog. How nice of you to drop in.
What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.
Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!
Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)
I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents.
But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!
We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 16, 13, 11 and 9 years old.
We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them!
We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
