I was tagged!  I hope it's not going to turn out as painful as what happened to my son last week.  He was playing tag and managed to skin the top of his knee-cap.  How that happened, I have NO clue.  Plus, if you have little boys, you know that once they have a good scraped knee, it will get the scab knocked off at least a couple more times before it can heal.  OUCH.

Oh, man, "scab" is not one of my favorite words.  Sorry!  I guess I had a lapse there.... 

On to the tag!

Under HIS Construction has just tagged me, and I will play along.   

Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves…

1. the rules of the game are posted at the beginning before the 8 facts/habits are listed…
2. at the end of the post, the player tags 8 people…posts their names…then goes to their blog and leaves a comment letting them know they have been tagged…and asking them to read your blog…

now for the facts/habits about ME:

1.  My favorite food is Coconut Merangue Pie.  I may not know how to spell it, or make it, but I love it. (and my hubby makes the BEST CMP in the world!)  AND speaking of pie, a friend of mine in MD actually SENT me a pie through the U.S. Mail!  (Not a CM Pie)  It was a kind of Toll-housey chocolate chip pie thingy.  Really yummy!

2.  When I was about 9, I almost fell through the ceiling of my parent's restaurant during the lunch rush.  (Luckily, only my leg pushed through the acoustic tile and was dangling there momentarily above the patrons.  What was I doing up there?  Getting down Christmas decorations from the attic, of course!)

3.  I have had at least 15 different jobs since I was in high school, and have enjoyed them all!

4.  I am a certified Bibliophile.  (maybe I better say "certifiable.")

5. I used to collect cats, hats and antiques before I was married,  now I collect books, magazines and perennial flowers!

6. I have a map on the wall of my office with several of my friends photos pinned on their location.  YOU might even be on there!  LOL

7. My husband proposed to me standing inside a big heart made of white stones.  He swears he didn't know it was there.

8.  I once won a disco dancing contest.   (Confession is supposed to be good for the soul!)

Now, for the taggee's, I think I will hit the random blog button a few times and see what happens!

Jenerally Speaking!   I just had to tag this gal because she posted a picture of a little girl with two band-aided knees!  Serendipity! 

Coffee with Mrs. Dani  I would have coffee with you anytime!  I already like you, due to the fact that you admit that you can't spell very well, and that you really don't want people sending you comments telling you about it.  (Way to go sister!)  You and I can tell the spelling and grammar police in unison "Don't bother us with your red pencil marks and unkind remarks!!!" 

GrowingStronger  While random blogging I found this great lady and this particular post about modesty and dressing habits is a good one that struck me.  I was recently asked if I had been to church one day, and I thought Huh?  Well, it was because my daughter and I were wearing dresses.  We almost always do.  We love them, we like femininity and they are comfy and modest!  But when pressed, I said because I was too fat to wear my jeans anymore!  (LAME.) 

 Anyway, see what she has to say on the subject.  It's a great post!

Gee, there are a lot of really neat bloggers out there!  I am going to have to see who else I can hit, I mean tag.  But in the mean time, I might as well post this crazy thing.
