It gets more ridiculous every day, doesn't it?

I am referring to the way the lie called evolution is crammed down our throats as if it were truth. Check this out over on Ken Ham's blog. Listen to the MP3 of this man saying how he is "proud to be an ape." And pray that he will know the truth that he is truly a creation of God, made in His image.

Moms, keep telling your kids how special they are because God made them. Not because of what they do, or who they are.

They are special because of who they belong to.

reading in our local paper, that the state of Florida wants to update it's science curriculum. Doing this will 'improve' it and will include the teaching of evolution as fact with hardly and reference to a Creator.

So glad I homeschool!!

It's an old communication tactic: If you yell something loud enough, long enough and you get enough people to yell along with you it will be viewed as fact even if what you say is rediculous!

Nancy, I deal with stuff like this in my Sunday School class. The homeschooled kids all have been taught about Creation/Evolution, but the majority of my class is in public schooled. These little first through third graders have already imbibed so much evolution! We were studuying the days of Creation in SS, and when I asked whent he dinosaurs were created, most of them answered as if on cue, "Millions of Years ago!" Thank God for Answers in Genesis. We have several copies of their DVD Dinosaurs Genesis and the Gospel on the church library shelves. It is the most popular item we have--the adults love it, too!

Welcome to my blog.
How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 16, 13, 11 and 9 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
