Hair Cutting

• Dec. 25, 2007 - Merry Christmas Friends!

I pray that you are having a peaceful, blessed day!  We have had a nice family time here and now I need a nap.

But First, just for fun, I thought that it might be nice to give away a bunch of  copies of my haircutting ebook.  I wanted to give some away for the blog awards, but "stuff" happened here and I never got my info out to the prize folks.  So, lets see.....how about 10 freebies?  Maybe more, I dunno.  I will just wait and see how many comments I get.  I am in a generous mood!

Anyway,  If you have always wanted to learn how to do a simple haircut, I can help you learn how.  This is a great ebook, if I do say so myself.  Actually, here is a review of itAnd here is another. If you would like to have one, just leave me a comment.  It is that simple.  But, you must give me your email address, but please disguise it so the spammers don't pick it up with their web spiders, ok?  Just do it like this:  Your name  at  whatever dot com.

Sound simple?  I hope so.  Today, I need simple!

Hugs to you all,

Nancy

Hi, first of all thank you for this opportunity to add some feedback about your webpages.
The first thing I saw was the video of the Christmas light display so I played it and looked at the comments on it.
I didn't want to register or sign up to comment on it but I would like to say to you that it may have caused me to close your pages and not bother reading as I find that type of display much more of excess and a flamboyance that I do not see as part of a Christ filled Christmas. Yes he plays his display to amazing grace but so many people are so accustomed to that tune they don't hear or maybe don't even know the words and truth those words represent.
Jesus did not draw man unto him by showing off his power. I've heard He had only one cloak, a borrowed donkey and very little material to impress people with. He helped people by touching them, loving them and feeding them.
So in this day of immense need for North Americans to conserve energy, feed the hungry and love the unloveable I find the display of lights irrelevant to the gospel message and offensive to the poor and the needs of a world in the midst of global warming.

I do admire the talent and work that went into the display but I would love to see that talent and work applied to feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and housing the homeless. A candle can light a dark space in a profound way and the light of Jesus love in our hearts will light up our smile and draw others to Him.
It doesn't have to costs thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours to spread the Christmas message.
Thank you for letting me say what is on my heart and mind this morning.

About Me

Hi There!

Welcome to my blog.
How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 16, 13, 11 and 9 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
