Just a little bit too busy around here for my taste. Whatever happened to relaxed homeschooling??

Well, it's my own fault. I love to be busy. Most of the time. Right now, Calgon, where are you?

I got up really early today, made some chai and then for two hours I was on the phone. Well, it was "talkshoe" and I interviewed Jill Novak about the new issue of the Girlhood. The she interviewed me about our experiences with a CSA these last few years. She's got three more seminars today, so I hope you get to hear them! Get on her mailing list so you can be a part of them...they are so uplifting!

This afternoon we had our "Delightful Kids" meeting at our local library. We did watercolor painting, embroidery and attempted to create some things out of playing cards. The boys did a bridge of sorts. They had a great time, but I was envisioning the Golden Gate Bridger or Eiffel Tower or something...:) Maybe next time. I hope to post some photos soon.

Good ol Calgon.

Gotta love a box of bath salts you can confuse with the dishwasher detergent.

Or not. LOL Not that I did that when I was younger or anything.

(I switched to bottles of bubble bath about that point.)

Just wanted to stop by and say I luv ya. And I'm thinking of dandelion farms.

Sounds like you are busy....good busy, but sometimes that can get to be too much. We homeschool moms just need to....ummm....stay at home...sometimes. : ) We've had the same disease here, too. Most of mine is being on the road to see our daughter's performances, plus a few other trips in between. In fact, gotta go finish packing. Gotta leave after lunch. : )

Hi There!

Welcome to my blog.
How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 17, 14, 12 and 10 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
