Good morning!~ Thanks for the kind post, friend!

But ya know, I'm not the spinner in the family :) Here are some of the latest projects by the REAL spinner in the family: Those are 6 ply, hand spun wool yarns, not hand dyed this time, but aren't they lovely? I have to brag, since I am the Mom, but this girl can spin in pitch black darkness---it's amazing! She also made the two dresses she and little sister are wearing, and they were her own pattern. Brag, brag, brag. I am so blessed by my kids!

Did your children spin that yarn? Oh, I can see so many pretty things to crochet out of it. The picture is so colorful!

I think that spinning would be sooo fun! I have a friend who spins, and one time she let me try my hand at it. I still have the little bit of yarn that I had made. The yarn you daughter made is beautiful!

The yarn looks so pretty and soft and invited and the girls' green toille dresses are spectacular. The lighting and angle of this photo are so perfect! I can't say enough good things!

wow! those are beautiful...I was looking at spinning wheels with my daughter the other day...not seriously. Something about me would LIKE to get into that sort of thing, but something tells me that it would not work out. The spinning wheel would look nice in my front room though...maybe next to a big loom with a half-finished project on it. No one would need to know that the project had been sitting there since the week after I got it.

But I doubt either a spinning wheel or a loom are in my future...I'm still working on knitting my first blanket.

How nice of you to drop in. What is this all about you say? Well, take a look and see.

Just like the plants springing forth we are following the Son, soaking up the living water and pulling the weeds. We can't wait to see what will bloom THIS growing season!

Oh, and just for fun, I will tell you a little about me, since that is what this space is for. :)

I am a mother of four lovely kids who are perfectly human in every way. They are sinful, selfish, loving, happy, grumpy, excited, capable, frustratable, (I know, that isn't a word but sometimes I make up my own) and sometimes contrite, and just like their parents. But they are ours and we think they are all keepers!

We have homeschooled them all since birth with the trial and error method. I think they all have "made the grade" and they are now 17, 14, 12 and 10 years old.

We're not experts, except in the area of making mistakes and living to tell about them and hopefully learn from them! We hope you will find some encouragement here as you read about the seasons of our life as a homeschooling family.
