It is a cold and dreary morning. The fireplace is crackling, and the kids are finishing up chores so they can practice guitar and piano. We have TONS to do, as usual. Hmmm....I am a bit tired. How about you? Seems like there is always more "things" to do.
Wow, I hear geese honking overhead, I LOVE that sound. And I love the voice of God...........This came over on Verse of the Day, and it is so timely :)
Isaiah 40:27-31
Why do you say, O Jacob,
And speak, O Israel:
“ My way is hidden from the LORD,
And my just claim is passed over by my God”?
Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Waiting, counting on Him to renew you and I today!
He promises He will, just wait on Him.
Blessings,
Nancy

Fireplace, geese.... remindes me the other day when I was out with Anna. She saw some geese at the golf course and said, "Look at all those gooses!" So we discussed geese, a goose and a gaggle of geese... She decided that two geese isn't quite a gaggle and by the time she was done with her own little tongue twister she and I were giggling... but hey, she learned that you can't have a gaggle with just one goose.
Keep warm today and tomorrow!
