Spider Man

Rated PG-13 for stylized violence and action

Well, my first movie is kinda old, (2002), but still is one of the best movies ever. Here's how the story goes. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is your average nerdy teenager about to graduate from high school. His only friend Harry Osborn (James Franco) acompanies him to the last field trip of the year to the science lab which happens to be reserching spiders. Well at this event, Peter, who is also the photogragher for the school paper, needs a picture of a student in it. So he corners Mary Jane Wastton (Kirsten Dunst) who he describes as the girl he liked before he even liked girls. While taking the pictures a spider that was experimented on alights on Peter's hand and bites him. He quickly brushes it off and leaves. He returns home feeling terible and insted of sitting down with his aunt and uncle and having a bite to eat he simpily goes to his room and collaspes on the floor. While this is happening, Harry's father, Norman Osborn ( Willem Dafoe) a billinare sceintist who loses his funding to a different company test his experiments on himself and transforms into the Green Goblin, who then takes his revenge on the other company and his funders. Meanwhile Peter has gone from his weakself to a muscular young man with spider powers. With his new powers he thinks that he can make some money and finaly impress Mary Jane. When his Uncle Ben (Cliff Roberson) tries to talk to Peter while taking him to the downtown library saying,"With great power, comes great responsibility." Peter ignores him and leaves to go to a place where he could make some quick money. It doesn't work. The palce is robbed and Peter, who had the ability to stop the robber, lets him by after he was treated unjustly. When he goes back to meet his uncle, he discovers his uncle was shot by the same robber that he could've stopped. Well Peter chases after him and brings the robber down and now remebering his uncles words decides to use his powers to protect and help the people of the city from the Green Goblin.

Now do you have a great power? And if you do will you use it with responsibility?

Violence: Well you show me a super hero movie without the things violence stands for, and I'll show you somthing that isn't a super hero movie.

Language: Hey Manhatten ain't exacly known for it's perfect language bub!

Sexual content: A dress that are as thick as a tissue + rain do the math. And Spider man does enjoy his occasional kiss upside down.

Drugs/Alcohol: Your stero type newspaper editor with a cigar and billinare scientists like whiskey in stressful times.

So there you go tell me what you think.

Movie reviews

Posted at 5:28 PM on Nov. 29, 2006

Well the main reason I started this blog is so that I could do movie reviews with a Biblical twist. So here is how one would go...

picture of movie

rating: which includes G, PG, PG-13, and the occasional R

summary and Biblical reference.

violence: this would include shooting, stabbing, fist fights, explosions (my favorite), and any other negative physical contact.

langauge: as you can guess this will include any words that viewers might find vulgar or less than polite.

content that only married people should do: well that pretty much summed it up (okay, okay, I'll call it what it really is, sexual content)

drugs/alcohol: yep any booze, cigarettes, cigars and other illegal substances

Well, that will be how my reviews will be set up. Check back soon! First I'm doing

 Spider Man!
