No matter how many times it happens, it still floors me. When the world says one thing and God responds with another. It's humbling. Dh was told in 2002 that his type of cancer combined with the chemo he would receive would make him sterile. We had to sign papers acknowledging that we understood. Then we had Kitty in 2005. And the Twinkies in 2006. And now we are expecting again! I'm due in January. We are amazed and thrilled. Most of the comments so far have been very positive (only one exception, and I didn't have to hear the negativity directly). But we haven't told the "difficult-to-tell" people yet. I'd appreciate your prayers. I don't like the confrontations, accusations and negativity. I don't like being talked about behind my back. Who does, right? I just hate that this taints our joy and excitement. So... will YOU rejoice with us? Peace, Katie

Sorry I can't be on here much - major tailbone pain OY! Sitting at the computer is almost impossible.
All is well, I have an OB appt Tuesday so I'll try to update after that.
Just a cute Bear (3yo) funny - he was on the phone with my mom today & I guess he couldn't understand what she was saying. So he squeaks at her, "HEY! You call back tomoddow (tomorrow), OK?" and hung up. :o) Cutie pie!

Did you know it's a fact that your brain really DOES shrink whan you're pregnant? Our support group pot luck & curriculum sale was Monday night. Last meeting of the year and I REALLY wanted to go! I thought about it off and on throughout the weekend - even a couple of times on Monday afternoon! Ya think I could remember to actually GO though??? UGH!
I had another OB appointment yesterday. Everything is looking great - gained 4 pounds (which I had lost being so sick so I'm back to start), BP 130/80, heart rate for this little wiggler somewhere in the 150's. Baby was moving around so much it took 5 minutes to find the hb enough to TRY and count it! LOL
I'm 16 weeks and I think I felt Baby Wiggles move yesterday. I was leaning over so sort of scrunched up right where baby is and had that familiar "surprise - was that a wiggle?" feeling. I HAVE felt movement this early once before, so...
We have the U/S next month. As always, the world (including dh!!) wands to find out gender and I don't. We didn't know for #1, but have for #2-6. I REALLY didn't want to know last time so dh found out but then made the mistake of telling the dc. I knew within 20 minutes of getting home! *giggle* I'm thinking of having the tech write it and seal it in an envelope. That way if the curiosity gets to either of us, we can know. What do you think?? Do YOU like to find out or be surprised?

Sorry I've been so scarce! My 2 available times to blog are first thing in the morning (when I am now a regular visitor to the porcelain fixture) and late evening (which is now being spent snoring deeply). Gotta love first trimester!!

I am so in awe of God's goodness.
We are incredibly happy to announce that the Lord in His mercy has performed yet another miracle. We are expecting a new little bundle, just in time for Thanksgiving!!!
