I've been to a few but I've never been in a show. * Why do you show your horse? I don't yet but soon * Do you enjoy showing your horse? ... * Do you prefer competing or just pleasure riding? I looove pleasure riding over competing (although I haven't competed at all yet) Survey --- Survey in bold! Bold all that apply. I love to ride horses. I am obsessed with horses. I have a horse of my own. I have a horse poster in my room. **Tons of pictures && posters!** Id rather muck stalls than clean my room. **Oh yeah!** The barn is my second home. My horse is my best friend. I ride at a stable. I have a trainer. I show my horse. **SOON** I show my horse in dressage. I jump with my horse. I just ride for pleasure. **I think competing is also fun so that's included in pleasure** I have been riding for 5 years or more. I have been riding since I was a toddler. I just started riding. My whole family (or most of it) rides horses. I am the only one in my family that rides horses. **My brothers used to take lessons but they quit** I love the smell of saddles, bridles and tack in general. I love the smell of a horses fur. I lease a horse. I live in a place where horseback riding is pretty common. Ive been thrown from a horse. Ive been thrown from a horse twice. Ive been thrown from a horse more than two times. **TONS!!!** I ride Western. I ride English. I use a crop (gently of course). I hate when people abuse their horses. Have you ever thought of: Owning a horse? Yep but now I do! Leasing a horse? Nope, I wouldn't like the thought of not owning my horse. Borrowing a horse? No way! Showing a horse? Yeah Riding a horse? Is that a trick question? YES! lol Taking care of a horse? Uh, yeah considering if I owned a horse I would be taking care of it. Do you: Like horses? Of course! Think horses are pretty? ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Like to ride horses? MY LIFE! Think about getting a horse? I own one, but another would be awesome! Want a horse? Another, sure. I already own one now. I'm sorry I haven't been on in forever! Ever since getting Candy I have been sooo busy between going to Caitlyn's and riding and training and all the other things plus school! But hopefully by summer dad will have a pasture built and he is planning on buying a stable instead of building one (which would take a million years if you knew my dad! Anyways, since we moved Candy to Regina's house (she is my homeschool group gym teacher and Cait is her daughter who owns a pony) I have been going over pretty much everyday and working with her; riding and training. She has definately improved and I'm sooooo happy with how quickly her ground manners have improved! She used to bully you and run you over but then we worked on a "personal space" excercise where everytime you feel the horse getting too close or running you over you swing the end of the rope (which is specially made as long as a longe line only cotton and has leather ends) and yell "pssst" until the horse takes two steps back. Then they learn to not run you over and also to back up when you say "pssst"; but she's doing MUCH better! And she's also gaining weight! She was thin and you could see every single rib and her hips were really square and sticking out but now she's more filled in although you can still see most of her ribs. But she's on unlimited hay and special feed to gain weight. WOW! I just remembered! I don't think I showed you guys any pictures! But if you want to see pictures go to her website
