pictures, pictures, pictures

This is an illustration of the poem "The Caterpillar" by Christina G. Rossetti. (The brown line in the bottom left corner is the caterpillar. The blue circle is a pond with a rock, and a toad on top of the rock.)

This is a rubbing DS6 did at Science Central. (It's a dinosaur.)

Cute pictures! You need to blog more. ;)
In answer to your question, Cam just started ETC book 2. We skipped the majority of book 1 - too easy - and basically just did the reviews from it. Book 2 is right on track with what he's learning in OPGTR, but it's kind of tedious, I think. His biggest complaint is "this again?"

I love the picture and rubbing and your blog in general. It reminds me of stuff I've done with my kids at that age (and will be returning to in a couple of years with my youngest). Did you go the unschooling route? We do classical very loosely. I think it's great that we can tailor the education to fit the child instead of vice versa.
