May. 13, 2006~ A Proud Mamma ~
A proud mamma of her boy. We were sooooo blessed with the guys who are working on our house. We have been at the site when they were tearing down the house then the next day they burned the burn piles. Oh, it was smoky. Noah didn't get to ride in the escavaitor the first day but his patience paid off . He was pleased as punch with his ride.
You must be soo excited. Although, I've heard from others that this will be the most stressful time for you. Hang in there.
Remind me where Nelson is. I have been there before. I also lived in Dawson Creek up north and some other places as well. I loved it. In order to get to our cabin, we had to cross a 4 mile lake by boat and then go up a river of rapids! As children, we had the time of our lives. My dear dad was living out one of his dreams. I came to the US for university and many fond memories.
We live about 1 hour above the skinny part of the Idaho border. I wish I could bribe you to come visit you are such a nice person. I totally agree on the stress part of building even though it is so exciting all wrapped up in one. As you can see from my posts things are a little bummpy right now. I know that alot of HS bloggs are talking about school books but this has sure been a education with the whole process of how a house is built. Wow. I am still learning how to customise my blogg page. How do you put blinkies and pictures on the right side bar ? I guess our geography lesson today is to find Dawson Lake, I still need to learn more Canadian geography and history. I don't know if I told you but I am originallyand American. I grew up in Kirkland, Washington.Thank you for stopping by it always makes my day.
my husband and I have discussed this type of things many times. Is your husband Canadian? Homesteading seems so cool, and yet so hard! I have another blog-world friend who is Canadian and just moved into her dream hobby-farm. You can see her blog at www.amotherslove.bravewriting.com. I love following her blog too.
Hi, Yes my husband is Canadian. Well he was born in Deroit, MI but was raised here in BC,Canada and has his citizenship. I became a Canadian a year and a half ago even though I have lived here almost 16 years.I will go in more later but dinner calls and I have a hungry bunch.
