Well that is enough and it will probably break my bank account if I was to get it all. -Canadagirl
We have been in Guatemala since April 3rd. Our entire trip will be 11 weeks. I have been doing medical work. I am a physician assistant. We have been doing a children's Bible club on Saturdays with Bible stories, games and so on. Tim has been working doing projects with one of the missionaries here. On Friday we will be going to Guatemala City to live and work with the Youth with a Mission base there for the remainder of our time here (three more weeks). On June 17 we will return to the YWAM base near Cimarron, Colorado where we will live. There we will be involved with running the kitchen and cooking (Tim) and with training people for mission work. I'm not sure what roles I will play, but mostly I will be mom and homeschool the girls and prepare for baby #4. I will also be working in town two days a week.
Yes I do teach with the Charlotte Mason Method. I use living and whole books and adapt what I find to our education. I do teach for the most part with a Chronological sequence. But sometimes a little out of sequence. I also am trying to include Canadian History. Some of the books I will be using with the unit study Further Up and Further In so I'm not a purest. Some of the books are Science books with a Creationist point of veiw. Have you heard of Little Bear Wheeler? We are going to go to his HS Adventure Camp in October. It is in Colorado. Check it out. mantleministries.com We are going to the one Oct.22 to 27th
Got to go
