Jun. 22, 2006~ Roll Call ! ~
Today the Lord bless my boys and I with our special friend and her 7 kids today. The kids were able to play Bacci ( lawn bowling) and other outside games like Capture the Flag. While they played my Sweet Friend and I were sharring curriculum and coffee. I helped her plan out her this commning curriculum choises. I love and thrive on this. I read and memorise HomeSchool Catologs, strange ehhh? I wish there was a way for me to earn a little extra money threw this passion of mine. I just today had a small idea of what I could possiably do. So maybe I will share in the near future after I pray on it or a while. By the end of the visit my table was covered in boooooks. Boy was it fun. The funny part was after she piled her gang into the car and we waved good bye and she was half way down the street. We noticed her 6 year old standing next to my 7 year old. We started to yell and wave to my friend to stop. Luckly she heard us and turned around. LOL. I had to tell her about kidsus8blog post "Roll Call" and I think after this she will start doing it. Well all's well that ends well. thank goodness. In Him,-Canadagirl
That does sound like fun :) It's nice to have a hands-on experience with them too.

After 10 years of homeschooling I really need to part with some of it, but some things are hard to let go. I think I will always keep the Pathway Readers that all of my children used, but do I really need boxes and boxes in the attic?!
Hi, I think we have the cirriculum planning in common. I am the one to call (or so everone thinks) if there is a question about a cirriculum. I do love it and read over all I can get my hands on. I am an serious reader. Got any good suggestions? My fav book this month is Keeping your Childs Heart by steve and Terry Maxwel. www.titus2.com check it out. Sorry about the citrus allergy!!! I'll see if I can come up with something else good. by the way what is the ticker thing at the top of your page??? write soon

I love to read the catalogs too, but my memory isn't so good. I also then start questioning what I am doing! Pretty soon I need to figure it all out for next year for sure.
First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a
a wife to my Handsome of 17 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 15, 13, 9, and 7. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
