Jun. 23, 2006~ New Kid on the Blog ~
I have to share to all that the son who soooo graciously made my blog look as nice as it is and his two brother's as well . He now has his own blog that he customised himself ,of course. I will introduce him now.... his name is EoNenmacil I hope those young and awsome bloggers out there check his site out. He is a real Big LOTR fan so his site shows it. In Him, -Canadagirl
Sweet. I love how all these kids are so into LOTR. You'll have to tell him my son is named Peregrine! He's 3 1/2 and my daughter Alethea is 15 months. I can't wait until my son gets computer smart so he can teach me something!
As far as moving to Nelson, I don't think we ever really could since my husband isn't Canadian. I have dual citizenship but I'm the stay at home Mama and that doesn't pay the bills! But maybe someday we can visit. The house my Dad built is on a mountainside somewhere out of town and my parents sold their land there to friends who still live there so we could definitely go see it. It was my first home and I don't remember living there but I do have great memories of going back there. My best friend and her family are moving to Vancouver this summer so we'll be coming North more often, and maybe somtime we can make it out that way.
And yurts- have you ever been in one? They just feel wonderful, so spacious, even when they're small. I love the way the space is used and how open they are. That's just me though- the link on my blog shows pictures from a company in our town that makes them. Someday....
Hope you have a great weekend with your family!
Rebeca
Hey girl I am going to check out your sons sight. Sounds cool
I have enjoyed getting to know you also. But I am not a missionary. I am Bahamain. My mother is American (Minnisota - Burrrrr). I am married to a Bahamian. He is running my fathers shoe business. I have lived in the US for a few years (Florida and Virgina). I love the Bahamas and the heat is not sooo bad. It is cooler here then in Florida. We get a great oecan breeze all the time. We don't live on the water yet :-( but we are hoping that one day we will. I love to answer questions about my wonderful country. See you
I did check out your son's blog and it looks fantastic! I'll send over my remaining 2 bloggers when they are un-grounded hehee.
Re: LBWheeler's convention in CA... well dh said no to driving one hour up to Big Bear to hike, so going 8 hours North will not be acceptable for sure. I really have a problem, how does one do CM nature study/ enjoyment when you can't get there or it's too hot?? Honestly the extent of our nature is the local frogs and birds living in the landscaping. When will the need to be in nature and enjoy God's creation be more important than not spending precious money?? sigh....
First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a

I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
