She has the most beautiful post and it is a must read.... "Storms......" It really touched my heart and had to share it plus my prayer request that I bonced off it.
Here is my comment that I put on Linda's comment section.........
I am facing challanging times for our house that God is building. We have hit a snag with our neighbor. We might have to build in total faith that it will come together in time. Our water situation is at a stand still and we can't cross our neighbor's corner of property for our water system. We have the full rights to the water but our neighbor is prolonging us from putting in the new pipe and we are nervous of winter coming before we can finish the top of the water system before the ground freezes. I have had a calming spirit till this last week and I am trying not to worry and keep putting it at the Lords feet. He is in Control and I need prayer from anyone who is willing.
In Him, -Canadagirl
I pray for God's grace to shine through your neighbor so that you may complete your water system before winter. There are many things that I will never understand about people and this sort of situation is definitely one of them.
I have re-posted my contest and set a date, so keep spreading the word....
Would you like me to change the BG colours on your blog for you? Make them match the clouds better? I can if you want, just let me know... My blog day is on Mon.!
I'm sorry for the frustration you are going thru. We've built our house (it's still not quite done and it's been 6 yrs), so I understand all the little things that happen and make you feel stressed.
I'm praying for you and your dh and for your neighbor as well.

....if the picture of my family HAD to be in nature....because the only one i have on my computer is of us in our kitchen...which you can't see too well!!! lol....so if you could get back me...great!!! I hope you get things worked out with your neighbor and that God will change their hearts to be kind!

I am so sorry your neighbor is making the water situation difficult. I pray God will soften his heart and he'll extend a helping hand. I've seen some beautiful photos around HSB as a result of your contest....
It is called God Works in a Mysterious way Here is the first verse.
1.God works in a mysterious way His wonders to perform. He plants His footsteps in the sea and rides upon the storm.
2. You fearful saints, fresh courage take; the clouds you so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break in blessings on your head.
3. Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.
4. His purposes will ripen fast Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste, But sweet will be the flower.
5. Blind unbelief is sure to err, And scan His work in vain.
God is His own interpreter and He will make it plain.
So my sister, cling to Him. He is in control and He will bring you through. There have been times I have sung this song weeping as I sang and stopping because I could not get through, but God is faithful even when I am faithless to trust Him.
The only reason I know what to say is the prompting of the HS and my own deep waters that I have been through. You know that scripture in Corinthians about comforting those with the comfort with which you have been comforted. Well this is it.
Another thing resource that often ministers to me esp. in tough times is Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His HIghest. Do you have this or read it? If not I think you would really be ministered to by this book.
praying for you and the neighbor issue. God always has a plan in every situation. I wish we could see the big picture sometimes though. It would make it easier. but the trust we have in the Lord comes not from our own understanding but though him and Him alone. It is just another way for God to direct our paths close to him. Praying for Gods grace,peace and wisdom for you and that the situation be resolved quickly!
We're considering remodeling our basement and we've got lots of decisions to make. I'm horrible at making decisions!
I'm so sorry you are having these water problems. I will pray for you on this as well as the continual discipline of smallish male issue!
I can't believe it but I do not have a picture of our family in nature--lots of the kids, a few of the husband with kids, but NONE with all of us together! I will try to rectify that, but right now my youngest is in Florida visiting her aunt and won't be back until next Monday!
