"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!
If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in
a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents.
The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them
be." ...Charlotte Mason
Hey you....I haven't heard from you in a long time. How are you doing? I finally figured out how to post pictures, so you'll have to come visit and check out my family. I've been having a great time looking thorugh pictures! Hope you're doing well! I miss you....
Thanks so much for all of your kind words. I am so glad you enjoyed the book. Thanks again for taking the time to write a review. It really is a big help to me. Melissa
That sounds great. The only problem for me is that I'm too old-fashioned. I love the computer for some things, but a book? It needs to be paper, I need to feel it in my hands, smell it, touch it.
Call me crazy, but there you have it. :>
Really, though, it does sounds great. If only it was available in hardcopy!
Have a great day, eh?

Ok mine is not a creationist view science book, it's a video. Well, videos. My children (and us too) are addicted to Kent Hovind DVDs. If you go to www.drdino.com I think you can view the videos. They are awesome. Dr. Kent Hovind also has other homeschool videos like biology, electricity, algebra and even college courses. The best trait if all is that he does not copyright his stuff because he wants us to copy it and give it out for free to other people so they know the truth too.
The Philadelphia Zoo some years ago when we lived in Phila. had a Komodo Dragon for a summer and we got to see it. It was quite fascinating to see this creature. Prior to that I had no exposure to anything about these animals.
