Sep. 22, 2006~ It really looks like a house now! ~
My 1ds is learning sooooo much and he is seeing how math is part of life and a job. I love how our friend ( who is a contractor is guiding us in this adventure and is teaching my ds so much. It is neat to hear how my ds is talking about how when he builds his house he will.... . This makes my heart sing.
This is going to be my covered porch where I plan to have many cups of tea and Quiet Times with the Lord. I will get to see the mountains and our little fruit orchard. Today the fellow who is putting in our water system and my husband may have some ideas for a temperary water system. It would be until our permenant system can be put in. I need to be patient and keep in prayer and let go and let God be in control. I have alot of faith and this is even stretching me even more. Knowing God is in control doesn't mean I don't wonder how it will all come together. I know it will come together but it is wondering When it will. lol. I do see God's hand in ALL of this. Each time we go threw a situation ( or a spiritual door ) God provides in His time another key for the next door.
Here I am again for those to see what I look like.
God Bless and I pray you have a blessed week-end and Lord's Day. In Him,
It's absolutely, fantastically beautiful!!! How exciting....oh, the covered porch is going to be wonderful! Oh, and that view!! I pray the weather continues to cooperate and you are soon blogging from your porch :)
I haven't stopped by for awhile, but it sure looks like you folks are progressing. That is wonderful. I look forward to contined updates by picture of the House that God built.
It is great to see everything is falling together. The place you plan on reading your Bible sounds wonderful. A fruit orchard?! How nice!
Also, I had a question. I have been told that there are not many churches that worship God and preach the gospel in Canada. By the gospel I mean preaching that Jesus died for our sin and that we need to believe that Jesus is the one that will save us from our sins if we believe in him. Also, that by doing this we will repent and try to change our lives and try to stop sinning. Is that true that there are not many churches that think this way there?
WOW! That's progress! I can just see you sipping tea on the porch with the Lord.
What a fun blog to follow~ thanks for giving us the privilege of walking with you through this.
I've been reluctant. I haven't had anything to put there for so long, then I got my camera for Mother's Day and the possibilities were endless. Do I put a picture of the kids? All of us? Just me? The animals? Nature?....still not sure, but it seems right, for now, to post my picture because I'm building relationships with people I can see, but they can't see me.
I got your message. I left you a note earlier in the week. It seems that those people who use Firefox browsers cannot see my blog. I was wondering if you use that. The solution some people are using is to highlight the words, then they can see it, or use Internet Explorer to read it - but that sounds like a hassle. I'm sorry you can't see it. I am trying to get it fixed, but my BIL is on vacation - I think he will know what to do when he gets back.
I'm just amazed at how fast your house is coming up. I'm glad you didn't get the surprise we got today: about a foot of snow on the ground! Sigh. Who woulda thunk? The first day of autumn!! Oh well, I'll keep the snow down here until you have your roof on and can move to finish work inside.
Nothing happened on our new living room this week, but one company is donating the insulation for us to use - that is a big blessing. The base is paying for the renovation, so it isn't our worry, but it is still a blessing.
I hope you see the light at the end of the tunnel soon regarding the water and electric pole. I never can figure people out. Doesn't he realize that you will be his neighbors for a good long time?!
GREAT!! You are coming so far in the progress of getting it done!! It looks like it could be done and you moved in before Christmas even. When is the projected date of moving in??
I remember what it is like to be able to help build our house, even though its not finished. Wish we could get a crew that would help us finish!!
Thanks for coming to The Daily Planet, and leaving me a comment!
It is always nice to have people come to your blog! But it is even better when they leave you a comment saying they have been there!
Yes, my brain is about recovered from algebra overload, but who knows if it will stay overloaded since I am still doing it!! If that makes any sense!!
I cannot wait til Thursday!! That is when SMALLVILLE 6 starts!! It will be GREAT!!
I haven't got a post up yet, but I am working on it. So come by shortly to see.
Come check out the changes that have happened to your favorite blogpaper!
the house is looking great. If I am ever in your area (not likely, but you never know) I want to stop by for Coffee (do you still have any in your house??) or tea.
Yes you can use yorgurt. It is just to make is creamy. Please send me you recipe for cream of mushroom soup. I try to make everything possible from scratch. I use cream of mushroom soup in a lot of my recipes.
It's amazing how it can go from just a cement slab to a real house, isn't it?
So happy for you. Glad ds is getting to see real life! I am sure it is changing his perspectives.
Just wanted to stop by and say hello. I know we don't talk as much, but I do try to keep up on how your new house and your life is going!
