Oct. 12, 2006~ Riding God's waves ~
Well, life gets more intresting as we go. Durring the Thanksgiving dinner. My Hubby's Aunt and Uncle who live next door to the property that my MIL lives on and where we are building. They apporched us and and said they were going on a trip in January, Febuary, and March and wanted to know if we wanted to house sit. Sooooo this means we can pack up ALL our stuff (store it in the new house) and live in his Aunt's and Uncle's while the house is being finished ! This will give all who are building a extra push to make sure we get it done soon. This is real nice because our rent was being raised quite a bit as of January 1st. I was trying to figure a way to make the house go faster to avoid having to pay not only double rent/morgage but to have a increase was leaving us a little concerned. So once again ....God amazed me and gave us a "Back Door Provision" ...Again! Thank you Lord ! It will be a tight squeeze in the little house but I can handle it b/c is is only for 2 and half months. God is sooooooo GOOD.
God is so good, isn't He? I have been praying for a similar situation to come up for us, as it is so expensive living in this little apartment. Hey, if I can do it with 6 little ones in an 800sf hotel suite, you can make it in a small house! I'll be here for you!
Look how God fixed your problem in a different way than you anticipated. Sometimes I think we go to God thinking we have already solved the problem and then just give Him a TO-DO list. Seems it might save everyone a lot of trouble if we just left Him a problem list. No instructions... no preconceived ideas.
Praises going up for this unexpected and delightful answer to prayer!
You asked why 10 shirts.. well, Mom thought that a reasonable amount of shirts for a girl to own and I don't hardly any. I hope I find some son! I am anxious to start on my Cloak. Oh, I get it now, well, tell your hubby good job on the turkey, I know how much work it is! LOLI still miss talking to you and hope we can talk real soon! We have mbeen so busy I have already had any time to blog. I try to sneek it in after dinner-before bed...
I hope to hear from you soon! Happy Fall! Nai haryuvalyλ melwa rλ (May you have a lovely day)
What a blessing God has put in your life. That truly is the work of God. Well, I thought it was time I sat down and commented for a while. I have been busy with the children's chore chart and I plan on making some skirts that will fit while I'm growing and SuperAngel's b-day is coming up and I plan to make something for her... as you've heard Jocelyn is making a cloak and that has been a excitement lately too.
I hope you are doing well, and the house building is going smoothly. I saw your thanksgiving pic... you look like you had a very eventful day, but I hope it was peaceful too!
I have really enjoyed reading about and seeing the progress of your house building. It will be so nice for you to have later, too, when troubles arise in the future. You will be able to go back and remind yourself of how God has worked things out for you and will surely do it again. Hope your trip goes well!
