~ Every life has some blessings ~

Every life has some blessings. I charge it upon you when the year closes to reckon up your blessings.   Men eagerly count up their misfortunes and trials, but how few remember their mercies!  One man say's, I have no wealth.  No, but look what a pair of shoulders you have.  Another man say's, I have but feeble health. True, but look what investments you have!   Another voice say's I am disposed to be fearful and dispirited.  But look what a wife you have! Every life has some blessing, and we must find what that blessing or those blessings are.  We must put them together, and reason from the goodness towards the glory of God.
by... Joseph Parker

This was just sent to me and I find it so true and profound.  That is where we need to remember the song to " Count our Blessings" and name them one by one.   There is always SOMETHING we can be thankful in and so it makes what we don't have ....not so lacking.  I would love for you all to bless me and tell me something you are thankful for that the Lord has blessed you with.

Prayer request :
Sombra at MoreLittleWilsons  child has just been taken back to the hospital with the flu.  Please pray for them and visit her blog to let her know.  God Bless and thank you.  You are such a blessing to me my SS'sIC.

Update:
Sombra's dc got to stay home and she found some ways to hydrate  him without having to take him into the hospital.  PTL.  Keep Asher in your prayers like so many others who are having a hard time with this horrible flu bug.

God Bless
In Him,<><
-Mary

I am awstruck and blessed that you would put out a prayer request on my behalf on your blog.

Asher is home with me, no second hospital stay. I've been give better instructions on how to re-hydrate him - pop and soya milk.

I am blessed that my 4 other children didn't get sick.

I count homeschoolblogger as a blessing even though it has kicked me off so many blogs today. Without it, I would not have such dear sisters in Christ to get to know , love and pray for as well.
Also timely, I am blessed as the Lord not only fulfills my son in loves call on his life, but in so doing it allows my sweet love to be one of the Pastor's on His Ordaining counsel. I am truly blessed. Glad you asked! And I love the quote!
Praying Asher recoups quickly.
Because of Jesus, Bobbie

Thanks for stopping by. I am trying to make the rounds to my friends since getting back! I'm glad for you that you are finished cleaning and are finished with move #1! Have fun decorating your new home.
I am blessed with a patient husband, who does so much for me. I have some very limiting physical conditions right now (that we hope we are beginning to find answers to). He almost always does the grocery shopping and running other errands for me, because of my limits. He never complains, and comforts my guilt.
Have a blessed weekend!

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I know how you feel...I was afraid to leave HSB too! There are some strange sites on Xanga, but I just stay to my own, and people I know there. I don't go "site seeing". I've been sick all week, so I haven't been on my blog at all. Just happened to look today, and noticed all those comments, including yours! I hope you're doing well. I will be back to visit soon!

Love you ~ Kathy (kamps624)
