Mar. 22, 2007~ Waitin on God ~Part 2 ~
~Waiting on God with expectation and hope~
The second meaning is of waiting on the Lord is with
"expectation and hope". We need to in our time of waiting, to wait by expecting from God. By doing this ( a coin phrase by Robin Sampson/HOWTA ) is a " expectation meeting" that leads us to dependence on Him. It is so necessary to be less self-sufficient and to be dependent on the Lord. Which is so opposite than the thinking in the world. When we submit to His orders ( to our loving God) we would cry out like the psalmist " My expectation is from Him (Psalms 62:5)
~ I didn't know when I started sharing this series of waiting on the Lord that I would be tested more in this area. Last night we got a phone call from the lawyer of where we are at with our situation with our neighbor and the water and electrical easements. Well, it wasn't good news. We were told that the water branch will not experoperate (force the water easement) with out a court order. So now it means we have to go to court. It sounds like our neighbor will drag this out as long as he can. We do have the water rights but if we don't give what our neighbor wants it won't be easy. It isn't all up to us on what we will give and won't b/c my MIL owns 90% of the land. Friday my hubby and MIL will meet with the lawyer and talk about what is next. So I am really keeping my eyes to the mountains (The Lord) for strength. So I guess we have a appointment with the Lord for a "expectation meeting".

PS: Good news is the wood stove is installed. Hopefully our kitchen counter top and sink will be installed very soon . Very close to moving. We don't have running water but we do have a rain barrel and MIL next door.
I'm sorry that Neighbor is causing such problems and dragging his feet. And how incredible that God knew you would need this reminder and reassurance now. God is good, all the time!
Mary, thanks for sharing this. We are waiting on God and it's not always easy. It seems God is always trying to teach me the same lessons over and over again. Maybe one day I will learn.
