Mar. 31, 2007~ Water runneth over !!! PTL (0= ~
Today my Handsome went up to the " House that God Built" and noticed water. Guess what ! There was water running from our temperary sysem !!! Oh , how happy we were to see that. PT L... Jumping for JOY. I got most of the stuff out of our house sitting house. I just have to go in tomarrow and clean up. Now, the only thing left is to get that electrical inspector out here. Do you think if I bake double chocolate cookies he might smell them and come to our house asap ????
I wish you could see how much I am determined to blog. Our computer was disconected at the other house and I am blogging in our cold pantry ((burrrr)). I am sitting among all our building supplies and on a rubber maid stool with my keyboard on my lap. lol.
Things are good so far at Grandma's. We ate dinner with her and then she went out. She is also going to be traveling to Spokane Wa. for some bussines. So she is a busy woman. Maybe our inspector will show up early this week.
The boys really chipped in with the move. I just wished they cleaned a bit more. Other than that things are pretty quiet here on the mountain.
Doesn't the yellow just cheer your spirit? I love walking into my dining room it is so refreshing and joyful. I don't know why I didn't do it a long time ago, but you are definitely right about the brightness. It seems to change with every moment of the day. My big bay window catches the morning light and it just makes it sooo bright and the yellow actually looks more to a whiter tone and then as the afternoon light comes in it takes on a darker yellow color. It is ever-changing ; )
My next step in my project is to go down to the spare/sewing/junk bedroom which is just off my entrance and declutter, sort and give away most of it since that is going to be Baby M's room now. He is in need of his own room and right now he is sharing with his big brother but it is awkward for sleeping because Baby M knows K is there next to him now and he wants to play and at nap time K gets kicked out of his room and he doesn't like that either. So it will nice to get his room cleaned and painted. I'm going to do it in the yellow as well. That whole end of the house is going to be the same and it's nice and cheery for a baby room. Later when he gets bigger we can always change it again.
Take care my SSIC,
Rosina
