~ Get your Friday's Show and Tell link button ~

A friend Courious Cat aka Heart N Soul made us a Friday Show and Tell button.  If you want to use it here is the code to use on your post or side bar.  I hope you like it.  I SURE DO.

Thank you Denise the HTML Queen.

:   To post in your side bar

     1.   Go to your template
    2.  then go to side bar section
    3.  then  post with this in your  sidebar, centering, take out all the stars * first:

I will check something out for you posting in your post .  So.... stay tuned.

"If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when these are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play! If she would have the courage to let everything go when life becomes too tense, and just take a day, or half a day, out in the fields, or with a favourite book, or in a picture gallery looking long and well at just two or three pictures, or in bed, without the children, life would go on far more happily for both children and parents. The mother would then be able to hold herself in "wise passiveness’ and would not fret her children by continual interference even of hand or eye - she would let them be." ...Charlotte Mason

The button for S & T is darling, but do you have any words of help for one "technically- challenged gal"? Maybe there are more of us out there than just myself who struggle with "techy" stuff. I would love to put the button on my page, but I have NO idea how to do it. Any help would be appreciated - if you have the time. Thanks Mary.

    Blessings~

    Mary,

When I do "In 'Other' Words" I link to my blog through a program called Mr. Linky. I have seen it on Works For Me Wednesday, Wordless Wednesday and Thursday Thirteen too.

Mr. Linky would let everyone who is participating in Show and Tell Friday to add their own link. It might save you some time ~ in updating your blog.

    BTW... you button looks great!

Hi; You may want to try to add 'border=0' (no ' ) after the jpg" and before the > to get rid of the default border if you have a windows theme.

Also... read my confession on my c-box, I'm not an html queen lol. I've learned what I know from ppl who are even queenier than me ;)

My yahoo ID is romans6_6 if anyone would like some help. I'll be taking DD to her Toastmasters group but will be in and out.

    Hi Mary,
I hope you are doing well! I love your graphic/logo - I'm going to have to play around with it a bit though if you don't mind because I just tried it and it's too big to fit in my skinny little side columns. Do you mind if I shrink it a bit for my blog? Sorry I just didn't get a S&T done this past week, I will certainly have one for next though - the county fair is this week. Have a good evening.

I can't seem to get the Show-n-tell picture to work?? I'll try again later.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I pray the 5 men in your life, bring you great joy tomorrow.
If you read on my blog May 8th 2008 titled To Be Ready Feels So Good. I have not used a curriculum in the pass. We only started hsing in Jan 2007. We took Faith out of a Private School that used ACE. For grade two we are using Rod & Staff. Right now we are only doing the Pathway Readers and I will add one subject at a time, hoping to be in full swing by the end of September.
