Jul. 20, 2007~ Show and Tell Friday~ I got my piano ...again ~
I am happy to say that we are 99.9% moved in. I only have one more piece of furniture left to get moved in. On Monday some friends, BIL, and Handsome moved my piano into "The House that God Built".
I am looking forward to us using the Piano DVD's that we bought last year, " Piano for Life". I love how the piano sounds in the house. The acoustic's in the house is sooooo nice. I am going to have to brush up on my very novice skills too.
It is Show and Tell Friday. If you want to join us just....
~Make a Show and Tell Post and make sure it is wholesome. It can be pretty much what ever you want to share. It could be about you ...or your family ....or what is going on in your homeschooling.
~Some how link me ( Canadagirl ) so others will know where to go to join S&T.
~Come back to me and let me know you posted your S&T and I will link you too. ( I need you to tell me each week that you want to participate , okay ? )
Mine is up:

Oh a house is not a home without a piano, even if one cannot play! I have a player piano to take care of that problem. I took lessons on and off and never really progressed much. The kids like the idea of taking them. Maybe one day!
Jenn
HI Mary,
Jenn's piano is a joy to them, and to those of us who are lucky enough to listen to it. I so envy, in a good way, those who can play a piano, but listening to fine music is just awesome.
Your new SSiC, Karen
Good morning Mary : )
This is how I got the button into my entry:
I right clicked on the button on your page and saved it to my computer. Then I uploaded it into my photobucket account. Then I pasted it into my entry just like a would with a picture using the URL link and then I highlighted it with my cursor and linked it to your blog with the link button on the entry page.
Hope that helps : ) Just ask me if it doesn't work for you.
Blessings,
Rosina
What a perfect spot for your piano, Mary. Do you and your children play piano? You all will be making some beautiful music in your home, especially with the optimum accoustics! Our piano is located downstairs in the school room/playroom, yet we can hear it all throughout the house when someone is playing. I have heard lots of songs from The Phantom of The Opera this past year. Those particular songs are some of my dd's favorite selections. Happy music making!
I ask because it looks so much like the one I had when we lived in Calgary! It's gorgeous in any case! So are the wood floors - I love wood floors. Wish I had some here. ;-)
Did you know that I moved back to the "neighborhood'? Yep, once again, I have my very own homeschool blog. :o)
It won't be as active as my main blog, but it will help me keep up with everyone here a bit better. I'll start posting your show & tell on my new blog.
Woohoo, almost all moved in. And it looks like that piano had to go up some stairs - that must have been tough, but I see you had a very nice spot all reserved for it. We have a lovely old piano that was my MIL's, but the box is cracked on it so the piano tuner doesn't give it long to live. It needs tuning again and I'm afraid to call him out for fear he may say it's a goner. lol I would love to take piano lessons - but would I really practice? That is the question. :) Thanks for sharing - I'll see what I can find to put up and let you know - I have lots of ideas, but little time. Glad you have your logo now, I will work on getting that up soon too.
Blessings, ((Hugs)), and Love!
It's been so crazy here this week. I got company yesterday morning, which we thought they would have called before then. We thought for sure they were not coming. Surprise, surprise!!!!!! I worked so hard yesterday, from early morning till....... We had a nice time, i just wish i had a little more warning. So, my S&T had to be pushed until next week.
I love your hard wood floor and the piano looks very nice on that spot. I wish i could hear you play. I need to take the time to look into your past posts and read about your new house, for I am a little clueless about it.
Blessings,
*K*
Briana has been playing the piano since she was 5 (she's almost 18). The last several years especially, it has been such a joy to listen to her play.
I've missed hearing from you. Come by when you get a chance.
Letitia
Yeah for the piano!!! I love my piano and would be so sad without it. I'm so glad yours is home. It looks wonderful there and I can just imagine how wonderful it sounds!
