Jul. 23, 2007~ Family Reunion ~
We had our last BIG family get together on Saturday. We went to a music festival across the lake. To get there we rode the "Worlds Longest FREE Ferry Ride" and it is in the Kootenay's. It takes about 30 minutes to get across to the other side.
Aunt Sally, Uncle Roy, Nicolas , and Noah
here is our little town
Fun on the Ferry. Luke, Morgan ( cousin) , and Noah
Noah being silly
We stayed the whole day and listened to music. There was a magic show for the kids. There was good food too.

My family thought they would be funny and took this pic while I was taking a nap. LOL
What a fun time! How many people live in "your" little town? Does the ferry run all the time? Oh that view!!! It's awesome! I'll not comment about what I might do if someone took my picture while I was getting beauty sleep. It was brave of you to post it. Not that it is a bad photo, it is just that this is your blog and you can post what pictures you like! (tee, hee)
Jenn
BTW, I got tagged with an "Eight Random Facts" last week, and named the bloggers I was tagging (including you!) on my blog, but am just now getting around to letting you know.
Mary you have such a wonderful family!!! /you all look like so much fun! I bet your exhausted but I kow you really enjoyed yourself! I loved the pic of you all taking a nap! LOL
It looks like you have a wonderful, loving family. You all must have had a great time by the looks of your picutures. The scenery is beyond belief. Thanks for giving us a glimpse. connie from Texas
it looks like you had the best time. We have NEVER had a familyreunion, there would be blood involve I am sure! What a lovely area. I like your town. I think we live in the same area separated only by a border.
Hey I actually packed a box today! hee hee!
Because of Jesus, Bobbie
Thanks for sharing your pictures! I especially liked the "napping" shot. Whatever would we do without our silly guys? :-) The last picture of your family is really nice, too.

Oh Mary, I love all the pictures! The scenery of the mountains is sooo beautiful - when I told my dh where you lived after our July 4th conversation, he said we should be neighbors. lol It looks like a really good time was had by all and I'm glad to see you are taking your ice cream remedy. I love the silly napping photo and the photo of your whole family is a treasure! That is neat that you have a free ferry. Your little town looks so - well, little. lol Really small towns around here usually consist of a gas station and a liquour store - I hope you have more than that. You should blog on your town sometime - I'd like to see a close up.
[Philip taking a pic of us three together] Marissa likes these kinds of self portraits too. I don't recall ever trying to do that when I was younger.
I got a chuckle out of the photo of you (and your family napping). Let me tell you, my older sister... not me, definitely not me... was going to get a photo of my mom sleeping once. My mom always sleeps with her mouth wide open. So, before snapping the photo, my sister propped a carrot in my mom's mouth. She had intended for it to look like a cigar hanging out. Well, the carrot woke her up... the picture became a family story and a failed, childish prank.
Hi Mary
What beautiful pics! Your little town....... does seem little! I can see you are all enjoying summer!
Ha.... just trying to peacefully catch a nap, and the boys continue their foolishness..... sounds quite normal!! teehee
Your pictures are beautiful Mary. And your family looks so relaxed. The lovely scenes have me drooling for Canada. We have not been up to Canada in about 6 or 7 years, but the last time we visited, we had the time of our lives. Time to go again I guess.
First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a
a wife to my Handsome of 17 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 15, 13, 10, and 8. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
