Jul. 27, 2007~ Show and Tell Friday~ Beaded bookmarks ~
I would like to show you what I made this last week. I have been making beaded jewelery, book marks , and key chains for a couple years now. There is a store in town that might start caring my bookmarks. And possibly another. My 1ds14 as a birthday gift said he was going to help make me a web site for my beaded work. I can't wait. So here is what was put in the tuck shop at the church summer camp that my two middle boys went to.
Here is a sample of how to use them
It is Show and Tell Friday. If you want to join us just....
~Make a Show and Tell Post and make sure it is wholesome. It can be pretty much what ever you want to share. It could be about you ...or your family ....or what is going on in your homeschooling.
~Some how link me ( Canadagirl ) so others will know where to go to join S&T.
~Come back to me and let me know you posted your S&T and I will link you too. ( I need you to tell me each week that you want to participate , okay ? )
~If you want the S&T button to put on your blog go HERE
I'm sorry about the anonymous comment. I guess I came from my friend's list.
I'm glad you understand how things change. The last time I went home, my family lived way out in one of the newest cities (bairros) and I wanted to go downtown, the traffic was unreal, what used to be a 20 minute bus trip to downtown turned out to be about 2 hours. I was so sad. My mom moved back to the east coast, so I won't even go back there this time. I still have a sister there, and she hates the drive downtown. I told DD, next time we all go, I want to go visit all of it and walk through every street.
Blessings on your day!
((((brazilian hugs)))))
Wow! Do you ship? lol. They are so beautiful! You should sell them on e-bay. Or, yes when your son gets your web site created, it will nice to see them.
Blessings, Mama Karen
those are beautiful, you did a wonderful job on the necklace. Ok, I would like to join in too. I'm enjoying the fact that it's a small group right now. :-)

Hi Mary~
Your bead work is really pretty. What a great at-home endeavor for you to make a little extra money, as well as having a creative outlet. Your son is quite sweet to offer to help you set up a web site for your things. Have a fun weekend!
They are gorgeous. How do they work? They look too pretty to stick in a book. Can you post a pic with the bookmark "in action"?
And someone will sell them for you? How neat!
Your creations are beautiful...my daughter is very much into beading too...they turned out just beautiful...I'll be gone for a week...just wanted to stop in and say bye.
Very, Very Pretty Mary! That solves the age-old problem of bookmarks falling out of books and looks very girly too. Love it! Okay, now I think I'll go and finally do my S&T, but mine won't be nearly as pretty. Have a Happy Weekend. I hope you are all rested from your busy reunion week.
Mary, your bookmarks are beautiful!!!! I have often thought about trying to do something with beads, but I don't really know where to start! Your beautiful creations make it look so easy!!! Good job!
These are very pretty. Ashley would enjoy making these. Maybe I will surprise her, and make her one while she's away on the mission trip. It would make a nice welcome home gift.
