Aug. 23, 2007~ Thankful Thursday ~
I am very thankful for "such a time as this". I read Connie's and Julianne's wonderful posts and how it just spoke to my heart ! Please go and read these lovely ladies posts and you will know what I am talking about.
I have felt that I am where God wants me to be but I don't always know what and how it is. I know God has pointed my family to here on my MIL's land and told us to move here. I am truly happy that I listened and obeyed. Not saying there isn't challenges but I know it is good. I also know God has led me to raise and teach my boys the whole way through. This year we are starting our 1st out of a 4 year cycle of Heart of Wisdom Teaching Approach. It is a Hebrew way of learning and it focuses on the Bible being the core and to teach to the heart. If you are curious what I mean please go HERE. I don't know the whole road that I am traveling on but I know where to look...." up to the Mountains ( the Lord) where my strength comes from."
Thank you for listening to my thoughts that are rambling in my head and heart. God Bless <><
It sounds like the Lord came over and hugged you this morning. So I think I will too (((((hug)))))
I am so glad that you are enjoying eing the woman Gid intended you to be, I know I am.
because of Jesus, Bobbie
Okay, so I really don't have time to run a blog here as well as my other one...but I am tired of being anonymous. LOL!
Anyhow, Miss Mary, I can truly relate to your post. In fact, about a year ago, I felt the Lord gave me the Scripture Connie mentions, "For such a time as this..." Then over the next few weeks three godly women confirmed the Scripture to me. I am still struggling to know my purpose, but it is slowly becoming clearer as I take each step forward in obedience. You are so precious, I love your heart sis!
Blessings to you,
Julianne

I'll have to say, just like I tell my friends & myself. Keep following his steps. The Lord has blessed your whole family, with the move, with homeschooling them and the list could go on.He's not done with his work, for you guys. Keep the faith going strong, is what I tell my kids. For the Lord will always provide, he will guide you in the mist of all those mountains.
Awesome! A friend after my LORDs heart! So cool. Our strength does come from Him and it's amazing we can do all that we do as mothers, wives, and children. Keep up the ramblings... I like it!!!
I checked out the HOW site, wow that is very organized. Last year I was SO ready and organized, this year I feel like I'm drowning in clutter. I'm considering bumping my 8th grader to 9th, he is working at that level anyway.. is there anything negative about doing that?
Thank you for pointing me to Connie's post today. It blessed me beyond words and met me right where I am at. I am enjoying your blog. It is an encouragement to my heart. ~Courtney
I've always wanted to be just where the Lord wants me. It is hard to know at the time if where you are is where He wants you. May God bless your efforts to honor Him in your school, your life, your home.

Yes, this is so true, we are where we are for such a time as this. We never go wrong when we are doing what He tells us to do. Praying for my sister, you know this, but wanted to affirm you. Keep your chin up looking at the SON :)
