Sep. 17, 2007~ Monday Meanderings ~
here are my humble plans....
Bible Study/Devotions~ I am still slowly working through "Mom Walk" by Sally Clarkson. I haven't had a lot of reading time and hope to soon. I am going to try to pick some verses to memorize and meditate on. Plus have my Bible open to them so through the day I will remember them and reread them when needed.
Zone~
I DO need to get caught up on the laundry. I also need to get my hotspots in my main living space and learning room under contol.
Must Do~
This week I have to ...
Make apple sause, pear sause, can some apple pie filling, dry some pears,
and then...., shred up zucchini to freeze ( for choc. choc zucchini cake), and more pickles.
Train Them Up~
I need to work on some bickering issues with my boys. We need to work on being more kind , gentle, and respectful of eachother.
Menu Planning~ Because we eat fresh out of our garden and make meals out of what the Lord has blessed us with. Go see my side bar what we HAVE eaten. Thank you Lord.
Well if you want to join in or see other's Monday Meanderings click on the graphic at the top of the post
Do you have winter crops? I know it is so cold that Pipes can freeze (how is that going by the way?) but I do not know how long your growing season is and what you can squeak into your garden at the last minute.
Oh, I so love eating out of our garden. Is yours still producing? Mine is rained out, I'm afraid, and the corn is no more; beans are no more; zuchinni never was (but God provided me with some free monsters I grated up for Blueberry/Zuchinni/
WholeWheat muffins, a family staple.
The raspberries are soggy (had mold on them all summer--hmmm, I wonder why?) LOL
Your meals sound heavenly! I can barely drag myself into the kitchen to cook these days. Soup, homemade bread, and fruit is to me a combination I could live on daily.
Is it sunny on the east side?
Your Monday Meanderings sound a little more doable this week, but you ALWAYS impress me with all that you are getting done. I wish I could shadow you for a week and see how you do it.
Boy do I need to catch up on laundry too! I bought my timeline at www.geomatters.com, actually they were at convention so I bought it there but thats who has them.
Looks like a great week ahead of you. I've noticed my ds, has been giving his sister's a time. They helped me out this pass week, so much. With the hubby not feeling good. Things are getting better with him, thank you so much for your prayers. Tomorrow my court hearing from the accident with the guy whom ran the light. Feel so bad now, cause the girls are almost a week behind in their schedules. Need to get caught up, and stay on task with my schedule we have done.
Sending you extra prayers your way,
Blessings SSIC
Debbie
Wow! Still more canning! Geeesh! I bet food tastes good at your house! I didn't get my post up today. Had to leave today and going to be gone tomorrow, so no time for tackle stuff. Anyways, I still haven't finished my last lists! lol!!!!
Hmmmm, It seems like I had already commented here, but it looks like I haven't. I'm losing my mind. Maybe I read your Monday Manderings post and am just now commenting. LOL. You are one busy lady. I was telling *K*, I don't make lists b/c it eats up too much of my time making them. Maybe I should post about my crazy schedule. LOL. I pray you get all accomplished.
How is your water situation? Any better? I love your humble plans, Mary. May the Lord provide you time and energy to accomplish the things on your list this week.
((((hugs))))
Jenn
You inspired me to participate! I am hoping this gives me a bit of accountability.
It seems we are working on the same thing with our kids...it is a never ending lesson...I think God is still trying to teach the rest of us humans the same thing-over and over again!
It looks like a great plan. I like your idea of sharing ways of making one income work. Don't you use two teabags to make your tea with this recipe? Does it result in a pot or a cup?
