Sep. 29, 2007~ You Make Me Smile and She thinks Im a Star ~
My friend Lori surprised me with the Blogging Star award. Thank you so much ! YOU for sure a Blogging Star in my
book.
Lori aka MiryClay had to say about the award.... Heidi doesn't know where this award originated from, so we don't know the rules that go along with it. However, when I think of a star blogger...I'm picturing bloggers that put out a lot of entries a day, chuck full of information that will benefit others, people that make blogging so much fun. I glean from all of my blog friends....whether it be for laughs, encouragement, homeschooling advice, or just simply friendship.
PlainJane( for her sharing about Heart of Wisdom how to's) Socalval ( for her links too !)
Then....
I have been SO blessed by Lori , Jane and Angela with this honored Award. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I cherish it that you thought of me. Blessings and (((HUGS))) my SS'sIC.
This is what the person that created this award says about it:
"The thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with.
I want to pass this on to (ten x 3) SS'sIC....
My boys... bugboy, OrangeKnight, Sleeper, Eonamcil
Wow, thanks for the Blogging Star award! I don't know how much of a star I am in the blogging world, but you certainly make me feel special. Congratulations on the award yourself - YOU ARE A STAR!!! I'll put it up soon, right now I'm being dragged away by some little girl that wants me to work on her room. :)
That is about all I am doing today, working on her wall and cleaning up after a sick dog (sigh). Have a good day!
Sweet, sweet Mary. Thank you! I am proud that you call me a Star blogger. I was just telling Valerie aka socalval, that I sometimes feel my quantity is not quality! I do love blogging. I am so inspired by all of my friends. We are a little band of ladies whispering to one another, "You can do it, keep going!" Thank you.
Jenn
Thank you, Mary, for honoring me with this award! It's so nice to think that I make people smile... :) Your blog does the same for me! This concludes this chapter of the Western North American Mutual Admiration Society, lol!
Thanks for the Smile award, that means a lot to me. (I just got it from someone else too! Blush) I will pass it along as soon as I get the chance - I'm just glad to finally have my Show & Tell up! ;~)
Thanks so much for this award. I will mention it tomorrow on my blog- I am on my mac and I can't really post when I am on it because the toolbar isn't there to post links etc.
I love the picture and verse at the top of your blog.
We just returned from another civil war reenactment. It was fun. :-)
Have a wonderful Sunday.
Blessings my sweet SSIC--Terrill
I turned off my computer to watch Stargate Atlantis, then I thought, "Hmmm, I'll go blog for a few minutes before I go to bed, especially since I won't be turning it on tomorrow (Sunday)." And what a surprise! Thanks for thinking of me, Mary! And I'm so tickled to see you have the Blogging Star award, too.
What's really cool is that I saw the names you wrote down, and I'm actually getting to KNOW these folks. It makes me think of the song, "And friends are friends forever, if the Lord is Lord of them." It will be be better than blogging to hang out with new and old friends in Glory.
Have a great Sunday!
Aww you are very sweet! Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I'm glad my CC blog makes you smile :D
We returned from house hunting and God is SO faithful! DH's pessimistic thoughts were turned around and he is now in full agreement with the original house offered to us by Christian homeschooling family at a discounted rent (plus our work lol). Guess what? I can have chickens in the yard if I want!! hehee! And guess what else?? I didn't even try to convince DH of the great deal, he finally came to understanding after seeing every house for rent in town ;)
After getting back my internet and phone was down for 3.1/2 days, just got it back on this a.m. and had to rush to get the newsletter done and ebay packages shipped out. Life is a roller coaster, I better hang on! :D
