This picture is from my home! My parents live in Oak Harbor! I used to hang out at Camp Casey as a teenager.
In fact, Teenager and I were living there in 1993 and visited the park (he was a 1 year old back then). How funny to know we could have run into each other.
I know this place too, but you sort of threw me off with the spelling. The teacher in me just has to tell you that it is actually Whidbey Island. It is a very difficult task for folks to try and spell ANYTHING in Washington, from Puyallup to Stilliquamish to Enumclaw (my town) to....well, you get the idea. Now...try pronouncing those names--fast--10 times in a row. LOL
I posted about my first day of college if you're interested in reading it. I also changed my blog picture to an aerial view of my house that my younger brother took a week or two ago.
Hey, I finally made it over. I came yesterday, but the pictures weren't loading for some odd reason. That is a cute picture. Bill's uncle Russle used to live on Whidbey Island in WA. We didn't ever have the pleasure of going there, but his parents went a few times. His mother caught a huge Halibut in the Ocean there.
I thought like Mama Karen You do look like the Shepherdess, now I am certain of it! It must be Jesus.
But what a ball of fire he turned out to be!

First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a
a wife to my Handsome of 18 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 16, 14, 10, and 8. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links on The House That God Built and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
