Nov. 6, 2007~ Homeschool Blog Awards Nominations ~
This year one little difference is for a person to get a chance to be voted on in a category they have to be nominated 3x's. Not once or twice but three times. So don't delay in your voting. Your vote counts.
Thank you Val for nominating me for Best Variety.
Thank you Lyric, Jenn,Jane, and Bethanyrae for nominating me
Best Encourager. (((HUGS)))
So...get busy and start nominating it's only until ...NOVEMBER 17th !!!
You must attend the seminar. It is free this weekend you will love Cindy Ruston. All the info is at the link I provided. I would love it if you were there. I got Ali from Aligirl coming to our Monday night class too. Monday night is Language Arts the Easy way. It is so super
Oops, the baby is waking up. I'm excited about nominating some friends for these awards, though. I'll have to come back later.
I'm glad you think I'm weird in a "good way" LOL. Actually I've always known that about myself (that I'm weird) :D
I'll have to find that verse about being peculiar and post it somewhere.
It is looking good for meeting up in Seattle. I got some new info from DH regarding his schedule that was very encouraging. I think I can make it up there in late April or early May. I've forgotten the dates you told me, though. Can you remind me again?
You'll get lots of nominations!!! Run with it, girl!!! You worded your post so well. I still haven't figured out how to let people know about the categories I've been nominated for without sounding like I'm a sales person selling something. I have no idea if I have 1, 2, or 3 nominations either. I do know that I'm up for: Best Cyber Buddy, Super Blogger, Best Encourager, and Best Homeschool Mom Blog. People have told me. Oh, either way I'm so honored - just as you. Hope you make it to the finals... you have a great blog!
Sounds like fun. I am to tired tonight but will have to come back when I am clear headed! Thanks so much for stopping by. You never know I might post mopping the floors one of these days. LOL!
Blessings,
4sweetums
Congratulations on your nominations! I agree. You worded yours well. I have been nominated (once , so far) for Best Homeschooling Mom. I wondered if it was appropriate to mention it. I didn't want to sound braggy or forward. If you don't mind, I'll use your wording!!
Belated Happy Anniversary. Your getaway sounds *wonderful*.
Letitia
I have been so busy, I missed this post....then i thought I will check if Mary was nominated and found this, the same category I had in mind, WOW!!!!
So you are nominated for sure :)
P.S. Off of the subject - Please whisper a prayer for me, I am facing some giants at the moment. I am so busy this weekend and felt so much spiritual warfare.....just pray a little for me, tomorrow is going to be a busy day.
((((hugs)))
