Nov. 8, 2007~ Show and Tell Friday ~Last Winter ~
It's that time again...
I would like to give you a sneak peek into what will come by showing last winter...SNOW.
I pray we get a good fall of snow and cover our temperary water system and to keep it from freezing this winter. And the boys are already looking forward to snowboarding, sleding, snowmen, and snow caves.
If you want to join us just....
~Make a Show and Tell Post and make sure it is wholesome. It can be pretty much what ever you want to share. It could be about you ...or your family ....or what is going on in your homeschooling.
~Some how link me ( Canadagirl ) so others will know where to go to join S&T.
~Come back to me and let me know you posted your S&T by using Mr. Linky. ( I need you to tell me each week that you want to participate , okay ? )
~If you want the S&T button to put on your blog go HERE
~Then please go visit other gals wonderful Show and Tells ! Oh, don't forget to comment. EVERYONE loves comments.
You had me there for a minute! I thought you had snow already *grin* We are looking forward to getting some of the white stuff to. It is slowly coming down the mountain but not fast enough for the kids!
Have a great Friday,
Rosina
So fun to look at snow! We had our first frost yesterday, which is about as close to snow as we get down here. (Has only snowed 1 time in the 3 years we've lived here, and that was only a dusting.)
What great pictures! They are beautiful! Makes me want to get out the hot chocolate. I hope we all get a good snow showing this winter. We definetly need it!
My that is a lot of snow! It's so pretty too. I love how slide.com makes photos look so special. I am glad you were able to post these. And thank you for linking me. I wasn't expecting that this morning! I am going to lay low today in hopes that I can regain some lost ground from my running around last night. It was worth it. I was encouraging my dh. But now there is a price to pay...
(((hugs)))

Hop over and see the Bahamain Flowers I am showing!!! Just a little different from your pictures!!!! So for a breath of tropical air in the midst of snow come on over for a visit.
Great show! Wow! You get a lot of snow. We sometimes do, but that much snow is pretty rare. A couple years ago we got like 18 inches. Little One didn't know what to think!!! :)
I hope we get some snow here, at least for Christmas. We are going to Alberta (to visit my family) for Thanksgiving so I guess we'll get some snow while we are there too. Fun Show & Tell!
My kids would LOVE all that snow. They've never even seen the stuff! I know you must really look forward to your to your beautiful winter wonderland each year!
Love and Blessings,
Laurie

Oh, your place looks just like our Tonasket homestead up on Mt. Hull! When do you usually get your first snowfall? It lasts pretty much all winter, doesn't it? We got 4 feet one year and I guess that was quite the "long winter." I, too, pray for lots of snow up on our mountain! Water, water, water for next summer!
Pretty snow pictures! We got a little snow this morning, but I couldn't take a picture of it as I think my camera literally eats batteries and I am out of fresh ones - thus no S&T or anything today. blah!! Have a good day my friend.
That is a lot of snow. We've gotten a lot out where we use to live, but I'm wondering how it's going to be this year in our new town. I guess I can only wait and see. ;)
JoAnn
Oh how I love the snow! I'd love to see a lot of snow like that around here at least one time this winter. The pictures were beautiful. Thanks for sharing them!
Take care,
Karen

I hope we get tons...probably won't but I do hope alot. I remember childhood Canadian snow and I do love it so much!
My S&T is up.
because of Jesus, Bobbie
I love the first snowfall, and love getting a couple other sledding and snowman making snowfalls, but I am having a hard time thinking about it being cold enough for snow! I will just have to focus on Christmas and how beautiful everything is when it snows.
Blessings,
Jen
Thanks for posting about our butterfly release. To answer your question about the tags - they are just stickers on their wings. Doesn't seem to bother them at all, and several of theirs have for sure made it down to Mexico.
Mary,
I'm enjoying my fall colors soooo much - I'm not ready for snow, yet!
Thursday night was a late night for our family - we were all sitting on Rachel's bed - watching your Show and Tell from last week. My husband and all the kids got to see your sweet slide show of your husband and yourself. Such a good idea!
Thank you for praying for Grandpa -
((hugs))

It has already snowed twice here... it didn't stick the first time and was gone by noon the second time, but that counts! I am a winter wimp. I have already whined about the fact that we only had 30 snow free weeks this year. Always philosophical, my husband reminded me that more than half the year!
I will pray for your water supply through the winter!
I am pretty sure that I can see the White Witch coming through the trees on her way to the Lamp post in Narnia!
You have a beautiful piece of land my girl! Lori
Hi Mary,
I nominated you for the 2007 Homeschool Blog Awards for Best Encourager. Are you familiar with this? I don't think you were around last year for it.

Beautiful pictures. I was able to see them. I won't be able to participate for the next two weeks. I did put a new entry as to why I am not around as much....I had a very busy week last week and this one is going to be another one. Thanks for wondering where I was :)

THat's simply amazing to me. We've only had snow like that was, and that was the "Blizzard of 93" as it's called. We've barely had any the last few years. I keep praying for one or two really good 2 day snowfalls! : )
