" This is what the Lord says: "Stand at the crossroads and look: ask for

Jeremiah 6:16
Oh, today I am very thankful. Last night we celebrated the American Thanksgiving with my mom and brother and his friend Dave. Plus there was my family and BIL. It was a real nice and fun meal.
I feel very blessed this week. My mom, brother and Dave helped me so much this week. My mom came along side me and has helped SO MUCH with getting all my product ready for the Christmas Craft Fair. I have been beading, making fudge like crazy. ( I have to say I don't know how I would have done it without them !) My 2ds13 and mom was packaging up the fudge and cutting up the cards for the beaded bookmarks last night. My brother has been hanging out with the younger boys while I have been trying to make up as much stock as I can. Plus holing in water for us to use.
So far my MIL's well has been overflowing with water and we can get some buckets from her. Plus my hubby is bringing water in from work and friends.
Please keep praying b/c it is working. I have to admit I had just resolved it within myself that this was going to be the way it was going to be this winter. And not to complain or grumble. I did pray that the Lord would meet me at my unbelief. Well, yesterday my BIL and hubby were talking about some suggestions that was given to him by a friend to unfreeze the water line going up the mountain. I don't totally understand all the details but they will disconnect all the pipe connections and use a torch to melt the ice enough to slide out the ice in each pipe. And work their way down the system. After all the ice is out of the pipes we will run the water through the house and back out again to the creek with a bigger hose going out of the house. More flow and less chance of freezing. (((yeah))) I will let you know how it all pans out when they work on it. I will keep praying on my knees.
I am so thankful for ALL my family and friends.
PS: I hope to be back to normal blogging after the week end. Thank you for visiting me even though it has been a challenge to get to others blogs. (((hugs)))
Happy Thanksgiving Mary & congratulations on your nomination! I'm in shock too as I got nominated in the "Geographical" section - wow!! A first for me in blog-land.
Anyhow, glad to hear that there's a possible solution with your water pipes. I remember following your blog with amazement this time last year as you deal with all that snow whilst we are sipping cold drinks by the pool!
I am so happy to hear you are doing well and things are looking up! Yeah!!!
As for the socks, I have yet to try them on (they so very pretty) I am almost afraid to try them on! LOL they are still sitting pretty on my desk with the book mark that is also incredibly beautiful!!
Mary how do you do it? Where do you get your beads and are they a certain type of bead? They are so pretty!!! Maybe you should have a beading class on your blog! :-)
If i knew how to make them this would be what a would give everyone for chrsitmas! :-) Thank you again, you are so special!!! Please let me know when your notebook arrives!!! Its on the way!
What a blessing to hear how your family is helping you during this busy time you are in. A wow, what a blessing about the possible fix in the water line. I pray it does work. I am waiting to hear how it goes. :)
JoAnn
Woohoo on the prospect of the pipes getting unfroze. I hope that works out well and you can have water again SOON! I hope all goes well this weekend at the craft fair!
or commented. But it sounds like your life is full of challenges right now. I hope and pray that your water lines open up- don't know how great running water is until you don't have it.
