Dec. 11, 2007~ URGENT : Please Pray for Colorado YWAM Base ~
UPDATE:
December 11th
Please keep praying....More to this tragic story go HERE
Dec. 9th
This morning our pastor shared about a need of prayer in church this morning. Please pray for people at the YWAM base outside of Denver Colorado. There was a gunman who shot four brothers and sisters in Christ. Two are dead and two are wounded. The gunman shot and then ran away. Please pray for this person to be found and please pray for the families of the all those involved. This needs to covered with prayer. We need to pray for the gunman to find God in all this and find the one true Christ that he seemed to take his anger out on.
Thanks for sharing. This is surely a tragedy although the good part is that these folks mostly likely are with the Lord, in contrast the victims of many othe tragedies.
Wow. I heard about this just a little after it happened. My friend's nephew was at the party in Arvada when it happened. My husband's parents live around the corner - a very quiet town. Conservative, too. So much pain. I will continue to pray for all involved. It's effecting everyone.
Hey, I second Susan's motion that she made in a comment about you making a link we can put on our sidebars. Should we call for a vote? I'm willing to donate some sidebar space on my blog for it! :-D
This story was also in Sally Clarkson's Whole Heart newsletter. The gunman also shot people at her church. Her family had just left, but a good friend (and fellow homeschool mom) was grazed by a bullet in the shoulder.
Very freaky and yet very sad!
I will be praying!
We are definitely uplifting these people in prayer. We were personally moved by this story as Bill's cousin works with Tyler's Youth With A Mission. The young girl that was shot, her father was on the Today Show this morning. So tragic to lose a life at such a young age. She really loved the Lord.
It's good to hear that you aren't letting the water situation get you down. I absolutely loved the nativity that you MIL gave to you all. Very pretty. Pretty candles, fudge, and cards too. You've been a very busy lady. I'm sure there will be many blessed by you this Christmas!
