Jan. 28, 2008~ Tightwad Tuesday~ Treating yourself to a Cafe' Mocha ~
First I want to say THANK YOU to my dear sweet friend (Denise aka Heart and Soul/ Curiouscat ) and SSiC for a bunch of graphics for Tightwad Tuesday. This is just one of many she made me. (((HUGS))) To me she is also known as the HTML Queen.
I would like to share the idea of a BIG treat in my eyes. ( or taste buds ) It is...
A Cafe' Mocha
My two favorite foods are coffee and chocolate. If I go out to a nice coffee shop I can easily spend $4.00 for a Cafe' Mocha. So to save some money I have found all you need to do is follow last weeks hot chocolate recipe but instead of putting warmed milk to fill your cup. Fill it with coffee and a splash of whole milk. And WA LA you have a fancy coffee treat.
Next week I want to go into the art of saving through inactivity.
Chocolate and coffee.....yum! Two things I really enjoy also. I enjoy Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha. So yummy, yet pricey. Then we discovered the lattes at Sheetz gas station. My hubby orders a combination there that is just as yummy as Starbucks and about half the price. However, I found awhile back a really yummy creamer that I like and now I find that making my own at home is pretty yummy. I use International Delight's Hersheys Chocolate Caramel creamer. It is absolutely yummy!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

I love cafe mocha's too. I am banned from fancy coffee shops for awhile. I had some gift cards and then I got hooked again. Time to be a tightwad! I love the graphic that Denise made for you. Very lovely!
(((hugs)))

Hmmm sounds yummy :) DH bought me a Starbucks gift card for our anniversary but still $4 is still alot for a cup of flavored Joe! I like taking my kids there for a treat if they've been very good ;) I really need sugar free, too many calories not being used in this old bod lol.
I made the red one... :)
