~ Can I pray to get snowed in ??? [0; ~

More recent UPDATE:

It cleared up and they plowed.  And...Handsome took the boys in for their practice.  I am staying home and catching up on the house. And...making sure dinner is ready for when they get home. (They are ALWAYS  HUNGRY when they get home.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Update:
We are snowed in.  I am now praying they will plow the highway so Handsome can get home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Can I pray to get snowed in today ?  Jenn,  I WANT to be busy at home!

 We have been eating ,sleeping, and breathing Curling. My boys have till the 20th of this month to get ready for the BC Winter Games.  So there are extra practices and games with other skilled teams.  They are having lots of opportunities to play against mens teams  or this coming Monday they get to play against a womans team who has someone who has won the  Provincials.  So, they are getting a lot of chances to play against stiff compitition.

They had a game last night and two of the other moms of the team mates and I got a chance to talk and hang out while watching our boys play.

It started to snow last night the last hour or so of the game and it made it hard to drive on the way home.  It hasn't stopped !!!  I looked out our front door this morning and it has snowed up to the top step.

Our front step

pic taken out our front door

This pic taken out our side door .  I wish I could show you how deep it is.  Maybe I will have one of my boys stand next to the snow bank to give you a perspective.

It hasn't let up soooooooo I am thinking tonights game will be forfitted.  That is what I ment for asking if I can pray to be snowed in. But.... I want my hubby to make it home.

And I thought we had a lot of snow. We are warming up a bit today, that's nice. But it's so windy, and blowing so hard, it's practically whiteout conditions. I don't think it's actually snowing, but it's hard to tell. I do hope your hubby makes it home safe and sound. :)

Wonderful pictures, truly a "Winter Wonderland"
Just think, when we forgiven, our sins are forgiven and we are whiter than snow.

We are so so jealous! We usually get some good snow storms here in northern KY, but this year none! The kids are so disappointed!

Oh How lovely it is! And Oh how lovely we must look to the Lord, oh to know that His blood through crimson makes me whiter than snow.

Oh so lovely!

What a great post of curling information and what a pair of shoes for the ice. Way back in my foggy 1960's kid brain, I think I recall them using what looked like traditional 'whisk' brooms on the ice. That was on TV in North Dakota. So what are the high tech. sweepers made of? The coach's sweeper looks like it is different.

Hugs,
Marie
