Feb. 13, 2008~ Wordless Wednesday~Searching For Treasure( it was a Christmas Present) ~
(shhhhh this is suppose to be workless ( oh !!! I ment wordless ROFL... It was A LOT of work for the boys !!! ) But they are digging for the pieces on the pic of the box)
We are just about finished with our New World Explorers unit. Today they are making treasure chests with pieces of eight and doubloons, reales etc. We hope to finish our lapbooks and be done by the end of the week. Yea!
Your game looks like fun. Can I come to school at your house?
Tirzah and Kezziah did something like that, it was a complete skeleton of a dinosaur that they had to put together after they dug the pieces out. I love things like this that occupy them for hours at a time.
One of my boys got a similar type gift a couple of years ago, it was a dinosaur digging one, and sand was EVERYWHERE!
I would've made him do it outside, but he has a winter birthday and I couldn't make him wait that long!

a wife to my Handsome of 17 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 15, 13, 9, and 7. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
