Feb. 23, 2008~ BC Winter Games Results ~
This winter has been a growing experience for us in Curling. The boys came close but didn't win the two out of three games they needed to get to the finals on Sunday.
I am so proud they even made it to the BC Winter Games. My heart hurts for them. I want them to leave this event with hope in their eyes for the future. I see such a amazing team here. I see such a awesome team and I pray they keep their eyes to the heavens for HIS glory.
As my friend Bobbie said ..."as everyone watches how the "Christian/Homeschoolers" win, they are also watching how they don't win. May all they do bring God honor and in doing so honor their parents as well."
I plan to make a Curling Celebration Cake for them to come home to. I want them to know "HOW" proud we are of them. And I will take a pic of them in their BC Winter Game hoodies. The suviner (sp?) that we got them.
Thank you all for your words of encouragement and prayers. They ment soooooo much to the boys and us. It also makes the let down not be so hard knowing that there are such SS'sIC out their for us.
I'm so sorry they lost, but it is so great that they made it that far. That is such an accomplishment, and it's great how proud you are of them. :)

That's really a hard lesson to learn at so young an age, but they can be so proud that they went as far as they did. I will pray that God gets the glory and they learn valuable lessons from this, too. They are well on their way to being godly men!
(((hugs)))

I'm so sorry that the games didn't end up as well as the boys would have hoped. We think they are super and will do better next time! Big hugs to them and eat a piece of cake for me.
Thank you for posting this up Mrs. Rawick! I knew from the website that things didn't go to well for them. But they tried their best and I hope that they will be strong and cheerful. They better not give up (^.^) I hope that they stay strong and full of hope for the next years coming or even stay strong for the olympics. Obviously it wasn't God's will for them to win, but they have my cheer for whatever they aspire for the future.
