I'm sorry the boys didn't win, but I'm sure it was a great experience for them. It took a lot of hard work and team work to get to where they got. The cake looks great!
Wow! Neat Pictures! It looks like a great time was had by all dispite the results. Glad everyone is looking forward to next year - what a special opportunity for the boys with their dad.
Chickens? Woohoo - I look forward to future Farmer Mary stories. LOL. Ours are great layers, but sure wander a lot - I don't have high hopes of these lasting too long with all the predators around.
Mary,
Thank you for praying, I did get the HSL issue taken care of and thank you for checking with me about that. That cake looks yummy, those boys sure worked hard.

I'm trying to find a balance between surfing the net and still being a keeper at home. I'm very close to just giving up the surfing. My main goal is to help and encourage women, and I wanted to do that through my blog. I was just hoping I could find some encouragement along the way from other blogs, but it seems to be more of a stumbling block at this point.
With your busy week, I hope you get some down time this weekend. Thank you for encouraging me to convert "The Little Red Sweater" into a story. I've been surfing the net.
I have a favor to ask...I wanted to post about my dad but mom's computer won't let hsblogger let me post any new entries. :(
Could you ask the ladies to pray for my dad and our family.
He had necrotizing fasciitis (flesh eating disease) and they had to remove his hand and lower left arm. He's in critical condition and all our time is spent at the hospital...the doctors are hopeful but this is going to be a very long journey. The kids are doing ok but my baby Lou 8 is taking his mama being gone very hard and all the gradkids are so concerned about grandpa C...
