Apr. 9, 2008~ Wordless Wednesday~ My sons friend ( a bird) ~
Now for the Rest the story....
Yesterday I thought I wouldn't have a Wordless Wednesday. But little did I know. It was around mid morning while my ds was helping our friend installing the downstairs doors. He went over to my MIL's and watched this little bird fly into the window. It laid stunned. My ds went to see of the little guy was okay. No harm was done and he held it close to him. The little bird just held onto his sweatshirt for quiet some time. ( at least 10 minutes and this is when I ran to find my camera ) After a while the little guy seemed to gets his wits about him and then flew away. I just loved seeing how sweet and gentle my ds was and how he was able to protect ( from the cats and dog) and comfort this little creature. Makes a mama's heart proud.
Looks like your getting your flower garden in as well. I will be starting in about a month and we are hoping to get grass seed sometime in the next couple weeks. It's a lot of work building a house. Whew! Didn't realize how much needs to get done.
That is just amazing! What neat pictures - thank you for sharing. I just found your blog and am sure I will be back. I have 4 boys too. Have a great day, Blessings,
