May. 15, 2008~ Show and Tell Friday~ Willow Tree Collection ~
Its that time again...
I would like to share something that I just adore.... Willow Tree figurines.
My 1ds gave me my latest Willow Tree collector on Mothers Day. I was sooooo teary eyed.
"Mother and son"
"Sister and brother" was given to me by my hubby's Aunt K. at Christmas.
"Me Casa"
My 2ds and 3ds gave this to me just shortly after we moved into "The House That God Built". They gave to me for my birthday.
"Heart of Gold" was given to me by my 1ds on my birthday.
Now....

I don't know if I'll get a S&T done or not. It's late right now and I'm on my way to bed, but I just had to say that I love your Willow Tree collection! I have a few too! And is that toille(sp?) wallpaper or curtains in the background? I love toille, but I don't have any in my house, yet!
I don't collect the willow angels because it would be one more thing to have to clean. LOL! Plus, I just don't have room for collections. However, I really like the angel called courage.
Oh, this is a fine collection. What a great artist, too. I hope you have a great weekend. I am going to be away from blogland this weekend, I think. Much is going on, all fun!
(((hugs)))

Directions and a Video for paper pots here: http://morningstargreentime.blogspot.com/ I will say they did not go together as easy as the video and we resorted to using tape on a few! We did sunflowers as they do not transplant easily. We will cut the bottoms off the pots and split the sides but not remove them when we plant them.
Those are so lovely. My brother and sister-in-law collect those, and there are so many beautiful ones to choose from. Nice that they can have meaning from the giver!

It is nice that each beautiful figurine has a story behind it - the giver - for each occasion. They are all tokens of love from those who know you best.

I have been admiring these figures from afar every time i go to the Christian bookstore or Cracker Barrel. I love their simple beauty and how each one is significant to you.
Hi Mary! Are you roasting up in BC on this gloriously hot day? Mt. Rainier is awesome and in full view. Wow, it's hot. What a treat. I'm posting for dear Susan Marlow, I mean Andi Carter. Susan is teaching a writing workshop in Winthrop, WA right now and asked me to post her book cover contest.
I forgot what Willow Tree was until I saw your love photos. You have a lovely collection. How thoughtful of your dh and sons. I have two from friends. Now that you have reminded me of what they are called. I have them on the foyer table so they are visible at the front door.
I to love Willow Tree figurines! I just have four but they each have a special memory or meaning to me!
You have a great collection!
I guess I could have done my last post (of signs) as a Show and tell but didn't think of it. Plus it gave me a reason to post this show and tell! Thanks for hosting this meme!
Have a great weekend!
