For Today May 19th
Outside my window...is my hubby weeding the pea bed. There are clusters of dandilions throughout the lawn. The tulips are in full bloom and the Hyassians are almost in full bloom. The fruit trees are putting on a show. The cherry, plum, and apple trees are blooming or starting to bloom. This is one of my favorite times. Too bad it doesn't last longer. ( and wished the pollen count was down )
I am thinking...that I have a lot of things to do before we leave on our trip to the West Coast in June. We have to get the garden planted. It is hard to do when you don't feel well. ( I am sure it is b/c of pollen)
I am thankful for... some answers we got on how to get my 1ds into the collage program he wants in 2010. I am learning how to do his transcripts.
From the kitchen...the oats are cooking and the coffee is dripping. I love the routine of the morning.
I am wearing... a jean jumper with my peach short sleeve top. I also am wearing a whimsical necklace of multi-blue beads that I made yesterday.
I am creating....some beaded creations I have promised and ones I want to sell to rasie money for school supplies.
I am going .... to be digging up some raised beds in the garden with my Handsome and boys.
I am reading... The Homeschooler's Guide to Portfolios and Transcripts by Loretta Heuer, M.Ed.
and Senior High: A Home-Designed Form+U+LA by Barbara Edtl Shelton
I am hoping... to get a lot of reading in till fall. I have so much I want to read and don't seem to get the time. Look at my long book list on my side bar.
I am hearing....My 2ds coming in and saying he is not feeling well. My 3ds playing with his lego castle waiting for me to finish so we can read. The birds are chirping up song and the creek is rushing with spring run off.
Around the house... are piles that are demanding to be delt with.
One of my favorite things...getting to plan out what books and projects that we are going to be using in our coming school year.
A few plans for the rest of the week....get some time to do some school planning.
Here is picture thought I am sharing...

This is the run off and not the actual creek.
