For Today June 2nd
Outside my window...is a cloudy wet day but there is still beauty. I see the iris's blooming and all kinds of growth in the garden.
I am thinking...I can't be on here long. I all kinds of work to get done before we leave on our trip.
I am thankful for... this trip we are going on. I get to meet some blogging friends in real life. I get to go to a homeschool conference. I also get to go to a family reunion. This will be the first time that my mom, brothers, sister, and I will be in the same place at the same time in 10 years. I can't wait for all the cousins to get together too !
From the kitchen... is dishes to be done and I have to think of a lunch. Focus isn't there at the moment. Ohhh I have to make some banana bread for the trip.
I am wearing... my new jean skirt and yellow turtleneck and a floral knitted vest.
I am creating....beaded work that I will be sending to friends and family while we are there.
I am going .... to be cleaning and packing and trying to figure out the details of our trip.
I am reading... not much but the books that I have mentioned the last couple of Simple Woman's Daybook.
I am hoping... to get everything done without stressing out.
I am hearing....the weed whacker . My hubby is trying to tame the grass before we are gone.
Around the house... is laundry and dishes to do. Mopping and putting things away too.
One of my favorite things...when I get to see friends and family. I can't wait to hug everyone. Plus I will get some girl time with my friend Sandpiper plus my sister and mom. I can't wait !
A few plans for the rest of the week....as I have said. Getting ready for the trip.

First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a
a wife to my Handsome of 17 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 15, 13, 10, and 8. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
