It's that time again...
Hi all ! I actually got some computer time ! So I get to post Show and Tell.
I am not at my own computer so I will Show and Tell one of the books ( and a smidge more) of what I bought at the BC Homeschool confrence.
I was trying to remember if I prayed before I went into the hs bookfair. I must have because I felt very directed in my purchases that week end. What I had planned to buy and what I did buy wasn't totally the same.
One book that was on Sandpiper's ( I got to stay at her house this last week end. I was sooooooooooo blessed. I just love her and her family.) bookshelf that I was sooooooooo drawn to and read half of in one eve and then had to buy it the next day was
I have really been wanting to get some material on how to teach a right brained child but didn't expect it to be at this fair but towards the end Sandpiper asked if I had seen the books on teaching the right brianed child at the Konos booth. ( had really been TRYING to put blinders on but this was a God thing to have layed before me) I will share more as I read and start applying this material.
Well this became more of a "Tell" only because I can't download my pics. So I gave links instead. If you are intrested in the Right Brained Child material. I will be posting about it more with links later. I am living out of suitcases and bags and I am not sure where it is. lol

Sounds like you had a wonderful stay with Sandpiper and fun at the convention! I soooo wanted to go :) I'm reading the Terri Maxwell book that you mentioned right now to and loving it. I love all of the scripture she applies throughout it and it all just seems to make such perfect sense! Sorry I've been so absent lately :( Hope to get around to everyone a bit more soon.

Glad you had such a great time! I love anything by the Maxwells, and have a bookshelf of their material to prove it. lol That is amazing that you were able to get the S&T up for this week. You are such a thoughtful lady. Have a great day my dear.
Good to see you, and I'm glad you've been having a wonderful time at the conference and meeting Sandpiper! I just LOVE shopping at the curriculum fairs. Now I need to go update my own (neglected) blog. ;~)

We just returned from a convention too. I love Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit. I read it years ago, but need to read it again.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I missed mine this year... boo hoo. Have you seen the book (course?) Drawing from the Right side of the Brain? I've seen art work that comes from it, and it's pretty awesome.

First , I am a daughter of the King almighty and a
a wife to my Handsome of 19 years. A mom of 4 on the go boys 17, 15, 11, and 9. I grew up in the states but married my Canadian sweetheart and moved up north.
We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links on The House That God Built and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
