As far as being creative, yes, I know I can be creative in the kitchen, but sometimes I want to do things just for me...like scrapbooking, which I haven't done in months.
I'd also like to try my hand at beading like you showed dd, I have bought supplies to try watercolour, but have not yet done that either.
It just seems that by the time I've done everything around the house, and met everybody's needs, I don't have time to be creative. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining, it's just a reality and I need to make it more of a priority.
How is the water? Does it get to a bearable temp? It really looks like a lovely place. Was that you in the raft? The picture goes so fast I have a hard time telling for sure. I sure wish I could come visit!

We live in the southern part of British Columbia , Canada on our homestead. We have homeschooled our four boys from birth and plan to go the distance till all four graduate from our homeschool. I teach with a Charlotte Mason style and use the Heart of Wisdom Approach. I love to craft! I am a beader, knitter, x-stitcher, quilter. We have been on a journey of being apart of building "The House that God Built". I have been recording our journey on my blog. Go to my links and you will find it. I know God has a lot more instore for us and we just need to follow where our Lord takes us.
